  More evidence of fraud in 2nd Peter: Noah didn't preach, per Genesis 6

  thanks for reading the 3-part series on the contradictory characterization of lot in genesis vs 2nd peter, analyzing genesis 19 and comparing it to 2nd peter 2. in the articles, i took a step-by-step approach to show how 2nd peter's declaring lot as "righteous" was exactly the opposite goal of the author of genesis, since the point of the story is how unrighteous lot was saved not due to his righteousness, but on behalf of his righteous uncle abraham (the star of the torah).. of course, the book of 2nd peter is widely acknowledged by nt scholars to be a fraudulent work, written under a pseudonymous (fake) name in order to 'patch up' some loose ends in the torah, likely to support then-blossoming doctines of christianity.

  of particular interest to ex-jws is that one intent was to support the duty to warn others of the coming end of days, including the jw's beloved scripture, matt 28:19, that justifies their preaching work: "go thereforth and make disciples...." the only support for the claim that noah preached before the flood is found in 2nd peter, so it's a dubious claim.. in the latest article, i examine the flood account in genesis 6, showing how god had already condemned mankind even before he offered the covenant agreement to noah, so there's absolutely no reason for noah to be a "preacher of righteousness", as 2nd peter claims, since god's judgment had already been passed, and death sentence had been handed down.. .

  a customer on my route with whom i have had some lively debates was his number 1 complaint is that "the witnesses have so many rules".

  last month i agreed with on this issue.

  he asked why the change, i told him that i have been doing some soul searching.

  Ideas to wake up the JW 'Feelers'

  a great point was made by neverknew on another thread about certain doctrinal issues will cause a 'thinker' to wake up, but a 'feeler' will just shrug and carry on.

  the feeler jw is often not stupid, but intellectually lazy.

  they will often not bother to do research, whatever is said from the platform is fine.

  Don't give up on her a I like the suggestion of wooing her away. That is the way a lot of witnesses fall out on their own. They miss enough meetings nd the natural personality and desire comes out.

  My First Birthday!!!!!

  my birthday isn't until the end of july but yesterday i got my first birthday gift in the mail.

  my best friend (stubborn disbeliever) sent me my gift early.

  i know what it is, but seeing it all wrapped up and knowing on my birthday i can open it...it really struck a cord with me.

  we went to a second hand book fair with literally 100 000+ books and i found some bible teach books in the religion section.

  of course very few people go to the religion section, but anyway i got out my pen and wrote jwfacts.com on the title pages.

  it's small, but it could just save someone..

  I had a friend who carried a golf ball to use for knocking on doors. It was outrageously loud and I hated working with her. Another witness used a quarter to knock on the glass. It is not hard to figure out why everyone hates when jw's are in the neighborhood.

  beverly wright walked with a cane, slowly, avoiding uneven ground on wednesday morning as she went door-to-door on north delaware avenue inviting people to an upcoming jehovah's witnesses convention.. a week ago she had what she hopes will be her last of five skin grafts to repair wounds she received march 19 when a pit bull mauled her so badly that doctors told her she might lose her leg.. wright, 43, could have escaped injury that tuesday morning when an 80-pound pit bull burst through the front door of a house in the 200 block of n. lewis place and attacked her ministry companion and longtime friend, irene parker, 78.. but it never occurred to her not to help her friend.. both women were severely injured in the attack.

  Just think of all the toddlers that get dragged out in service by their parents. If that dog had gotten hold of a small child it would have killed it or at least horribly disfigured it for life. It is just too dangerous to gobo or to door anymore, not to mention a waste of time.

  Where are all the new members?

  with the changes in doctrine being fully unveiled at the dc this year, i expected many to wake up.

  the dcs have been going on for a month now, i fully expected to be welcoming new members by now!

  Sometimes it takes a while for the BS to sink in. When they changed the generation teaching, it didn't register with our family right away that the truth is, the GB is making this religion up as they go. New doctrine is used to explain away why things didn't turn out the way they said it would. When you lie, you just have to make up new lies to cover yourselves. The GB is stuck in a huge, huge web of lies and there is no way out for them.
