  Amazing Survived Major Heart Attack

  i just spoke on the phone to amazing (jim whitney) who is in intensive care in a chicago hospital.

  on monday he had a major heart attack, had a stint put in an artery to unblock things and may have bypass surgery.

  he's comfortable enough right now, but of course will have to make some big lifestyle changes.

  To My Mother

  at about 6:30 this evening my mother passed away.. .

  the best mother and the best wife anybody could ever be blessed with.

  she was not only my mother, she was my friend.

  i was inside my home when i hear the door bell ring.

  i open the door, and there was an older gentlemen offering wt literature.

  Do you beleive in God, the bible or religion?

  i'm pretty sure this question has probably been asked before but i'd like to put it out here and see what the responses are.

  my doubts about the bible probably began maybe 6 or 7 years ago, they were very small ones however and i managed to supress them for quite a while.

  however certain events in my life would make those events resurface.

  Another Chapter....

  well i just wanted to share with you that another chapter in my life is done.

  i spent my last day sitting in a classroom for my master's degree friday.

  i just have my affliations left and then i will be an occupational therapist!

  Browns Chicken Suspects Charged

  i remember clearly the events in 1993 that surrounded this horrible massacre.

  i worked in the town of palatine within a mile or two of the crime scene and remember how frightened i was in the immediate weeks after this event happened knowing the killer(s) was still on the loose.. they finally caught the bastards who slaughtered seven innocent livesfor some money and for the "thrill" of it.. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/showcase/chi-020518browns.story?coll=chi%2dnews%2dhed.

  today, after nine years palatine and its surrounding communities are breathing a long-awaited sigh of relief.. may their victims and their families finally rest in peace.

  My Experience Today with My Brother

  well, my brother and his wife came over to my parent's house to visit today while i was home.. to make a long story short, while my brother and his wife were chatting with my mother in the living room, my 1 and a half year old nephew reilly walked into the kitchen where i was making a caesar salad.. he walked over towards me and was smiling, how can any normal adult resist the innocent smile of a child who is your relative?

  i picked him up and gave him a huge hug, and told him i loved him.. as i was holding my nephew in my arms, my brother walked into the room.

  he was smack dab in the middle of an in-depth conversation about jehovah with my mother and his wife, and i admit i was rolling my eyes listening to him spew about the "truth" and "the only means for salvation in the last days of this wicked system" even though when i confronted him with info on the un, blood, russell gravesite, rape changes, exclusivity, etc, he had no response for me because he was dumbfounded and lost for words.
