he was and elder and regular pioneer at the time baprized 40 years he decides to rent a room from a women who rents rooms out to singles ,he moves in and there's another guy there also renting a room he happens to be disfellowshipped .
A single brother living in the same home as a woman to whom he isn't married to is a cause for disfellowshippIng.

I just read the letter and it is full of spelling mistakes...which is very unusual for any document issued by the WT.
there are quite a few here who have been disfellowshipped for apostasy.. then there are those that have successfully faded.. why the different outcome?
are the ones that got df more out spoken?
or does the discrepancy lie with the elders?.
I stopped going to the meetings 7 years ago while my wife is still achive. Other than a courtesy visit from 2 elders after a full year out, they have left me alone. My younger brother is an elder in another congregation and I told him why I no longer believe in the WT and he said that nothing will ever change between us. To this day he has stuck to his word but that could change if I became openly critical of the WT and get disfellowshipped for apostasy. So fading works well for me .
i disassociated myself 3 years ago but have never told my mother, as she lives quite a distance from me in the uk.
i've have told her that i no longer go to meetings, neither does my son, who is 16.. i haven't seen her for 3 1/2 years.
i offered to come visit this week but she was incredibly offhand with me and said she couldn't meet with me today as she was on the ministry!!
My younger brother called our 82 year old mother to arrange a visit so she could meet her newest grand child but she couldn't accommodate him since she is busy too busy with pioneering in the field ministry. My brother who was never baptized said he isn't about to convert to be able to spend quality time with his mom in the ministry....Then she complains that he never calls or visit.

I had a similar return visit who engaged me on doctrine only using the bible...I dismissed his reasoning by telling myself he was an apostate. Still what he said resonated in me and caused the doubts that led me to researching my beliefs...and here I am!
the wts has always included minors and adults in the same categories - publisher and baptized.. i am interested in knowing how many minors, approximately, are included in the publisher count.
