He could be a kind of atheist, b/c he discussed a lot of logical fallacies in a way to analize religions and doctrines. That method it's not used by christian theists b/c the very christianism don't stand through logical thinking. If you use the fallacy check method, even Jesus and Jehovah words fall into logical absurd.

An Explanation of why TIME TRAVEL does not work
by Terry inenergy and matter are neither created nor destroyed.. consequently, the building blocks of existence are actually finite parts.. to create things in "tomorrow" which are new, something has to be dismantled to leave spare parts for tomorrow's new thing.. the old thing deteriorates, (dies/disintegrates) and the parts become available to make the new thing.. time travel requires going to a place where today's parts are available to be rearranged.. some of today's things persist as they are, of course.
they only travel through time by persisting as they are.
(mountains, for example.).

"Time travel requires going to a place where TODAY'S parts are available to be rearranged."
The subatomic particles appear and disappear every moment. When they disappear here they could appear in another place or time to form another arragement of matter.

Are you an athiest and why?
by LouBelle ini'm interested in finding out people's reasons as to why they are athiest.. i have simply through life experience, my research into religions over the years come to that conclusion.
never thought i would come to a day that i did not believe in a god.
believing in a god is like believing in super man, it would be great if he existed but well it's just a fairy tale.

My 1,914th post: The man I personally blame for the early success of the Watch Tower Society
by cedars init seems fitting to use my 1,914th post to address a doctrine that has shaped the lives of so many of us, and which continues to be a cornerstone belief that is used to keep individual jehovahs witnesses trapped in servitude to a man-made corporation.. .
that said, we might well ask who started it all?
we might say russell, who borrowed heavily from the millerite teachings of the second adventists in advocating a chronology that included the year 1914. as we know, when we research early witness literature we realise that the year 1914 featured in russell's chronology only as the end of a series of events culminating in armageddon, and not the beginning of christ's presence.

In the Borg I listened the argument about bugs was created by Jehovah to serve as a meter to hygiene precautions.
A similar argument was about the pain of a broken arm when in paradise. The pain will be an alarm to something wrong. Buuut when I heard about that I was wondering how could a perfect human even break an arm? You break something b/c some mistake, but perfect beings do not fail...
Wondering a bit longer you'll find it's just impossible a perfect human/angel to fail. So how could they commited a sin?

by d ini was once a jw from 1995 until 2008. although my childhood i believed till saw the truth for myself.

I became one a little while after leaving WT. I tried to to be an evangelical christian, but they are just guided by silly emotions. If the WT have a crazy theology, the evangelical christians have none at all, just AMEM GLORIA INTHANAMEOVGEEZUS...
I liked A LOT about the buddhism but just the philosophical approach to it, the religion stuff don't attract me more than the others religions.
Great irony is I see in atheism exactly what I expected in christianism: freedom, no sense of guilty, hope in the future, be what you are, a lot of sense of humor (I think the best sense we can give to life is face it with a good sense of humor, life seems only have any sense if you see it as a comedy).
So I will be an atheist until an angel descend from heaven upon my roof and blow a trumpet to me...

Do demons really exist?
by Inisc ini mean, is there really any scientific evidence to support their existence?.
is it used as a scare tactic of thewts?.
and i suppose if one doesn't believe in god, a belief in satan and demons and angels for that matter would be contradictory... im not sure what i believe now but would love to hear everyone's thoughts..

Demon facts:
They'll not appear, scare, make noises, and nothing at all in the presence of a skeptic/atheist.
