i guess you could make a case of more families being together although that might not be the best situation.

I've got sick of virtue signalling celebs clamouring for attention, now that they're not relevant.

Even FB buddies are annoying me with their virtue signalling bull. You know, 'Hey, I just wanted to say.....' then they bleed out some self important blather about 'stay safe', 'stay home', 'clap the NHS'. Frankly, it's made me think again about people. Then there are the self righteous being aggressive about what they think you should do, even if it's at odds with government guidelines. The utter arrogance of these brain dead sheeple.

I'm not saying there's not a pandemic but......................god........go away. We get it. Four corfe!

Has Anyone Had Chinese Food Lately?

since this virus, i have noticed that nearly all of the take out joints in my area are closed.

I usually have a Chinese takeaway once a month. The Kung Fu Kitchen, near me, is top quality. The staff are lovely people.

So, I hear there are those idiots who conflate the lurgi pandemic with Chinese people. What gormless trogs.

Just because the CCP are being shady and probably dishonest (being guarded what I say), doesn't mean Chinese people are all to blame. The same as we cannot be blamed for all the crap that happens because of our leaders where we live.

My daughter's fellah is a Canadian Chinese bloke. I cannot think of a better geezer for my daughter.

for some strange reason those old geezers (and some not so old) could not recognize who they were screwing?.

my wife was listening to this week’s bible reading about jacob, laban, and the sisters leah, and rachael.

i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses, but i can remember the excellent talks given by the above frank sartin, an elder and i think at one time a zone overseer in the lancashire area of the uk.

upon doing some research i read that he died back in 2015. .

does anyone else remember him?.

do you think any higher ups know that much of the doctrine they teach is bunk?

thinking back to the time of raymond franz, how he pointed out specifically numerous teachings that the churches really did have right all along, and really any of the hidden mic apostacy trials you listen to on youtube, you see that even when inconvenient bible teachings are proven, the elders just try to sweep it under the rug and move on.

i think i remember franz saying how one of the gb approached him somewhat sympathetically, but there was nothing he could do.. whether you believe in the bible or not, there are some basic beliefs common among most denominations because they're just so plainly stated, such things as heavenly life for all christians, no central authority structure, minimal use of god's name, etc.

if the holy spirit is an "active force", how can it be grieved (ephesians 4:30)?.

in other words, according to the jw's, one can make jehovah's "force" sorrowful?

this is an example of how the jw leaders have perverted the gospel in translation, and have put the jw's in a position in which they must perform intellectual gymnastics in order to maintain their false position.

Acer - Christianity is different as it answers the question about sin. What is sin, how does sin lead to death, How does God save creation from sin and death. No other religion answers that question.

So, let me get this right. An old book, written by men, says there is such a thing as 'sin(tm)'. Then it tells you how to get out of it, by giving money to some blokes or talking to an imaginary man in the sky.

Yeah. No wonder the contradictory old book is used in this way......ever know a religion that didn't use it to extort money from it's sheeple?

I'm sorry, mate; you've been sold a dud. Don't be fooled by man made concepts and con tricks. It's all a joke, and you've been pranked.
