it's nice to meet you all.

i have been awake since i was a child and i am thinking about leaving jehovahs witnesses soon.

i am looking for some new friends because i know i will lose the ones i have.. my question is, how did your spouse react when you left?

one thing i've learnt over the years is to read between the lines.. that means reading statements carefully.. if you have never met someone, would you say "i have never met them" or would you say "i don't remember ever meeting them"?.

the latter is just a get-out out in case evidence is presented that you did in fact meet them, because there is a photo of you with your arm around them in the upstairs of a pedo's friends, girlfriends house, which you also claim you never went to.. what will happen if the us jails a uk royal?

who knows.. before then i just hope he does another of those "utterly convincing" bizarre interviews to "prove" how he couldn't have done it because he is incapable of sweating (cut to photo of sweating andrew).

There remains a 2 tier system, I believe. One rule for them and another for us.

If Prince Andrew is a sweaty nonce, he'll escape justice because he's one of the elites that no Judge will condemn on fear of reprisals. If some working class bloke from a council estate (the projects to my American cousins), in Nottingham had done this, they'd be sent to HMP Whatton pronto.

the Establishment will pull every string, and call in every favour and utilise every dirty trick that they can to make sure he does not face a Court.

i have to say it, but i do.. i have a sneaking suspicion that because i was raised in the dangerous jehovah borgness cult, that this is the reason.

i was told if god didn't watch me masturbating or smoking, then he'd let me live forever in perfect conditions.. i left the borg and as a result my jw wife left me and re-married another gung ho jobo.

I left the bOrg and as a result my JW wife left me and re-married another gung ho jobo. I now do not...nay, cannot, believe there is a god or anything after this life. I'm less than 3 years away from retirement and my life is drab.

I live alone and have become rather disassociated from the idea of having a romantic partner. The very idea has become silly to me. I don't need anyone to validate me.....and yet.....ah, I dunno.....

I feel like I should be able to attain something magnificent. A stately home as a substitute for what the Watchtower conned me into believing.. A toff life-style. Yes, I do think this is a substitute for 'eternal life on a paradise Earth (TM)'.

I was indoctrinated to believe 'better must come' (a good reggae song, Delroy Wilson if I recall), and now I know it won't.

I have written books including the JW interviews, but now removed them from Amazon because, what's the point? I just feel let down and weary with it all.

Does any of this make any sense? Anyone else felt/feel the same?

A suggestion to improve the site's search engine

i wish the search engine of this site would gain the added feature of being able to search for exact phrases (such as by using quote marks around phrases).

that way i could find specific information on this site much more easily.

if a such a feature was available, then this site would be much more useful in finding relevant old posts..

I haven't a clue. I do think that here in the UK we are becoming a more classist society. Perhaps I'm reading the signs wrong. There seems to be a greater divide between rich and poor. Toffs and plebs. Our government seems to be quite a bunch of all talk and no do hypocrites, in certain areas.

What I will predict is that with all the money Mr Spock (Sunak), has been dishing out in furlough and stuff, we, the taxpayer will pay for this and it won't be a good time for bargains in the shops.

in one form or another i've been a member of this site for almost 10 years.

in the past this was a great place for debate, news and support for ex jws.

i logged on several times a day and posted several times a week.

I think in some ways there is a connect. It seems to me that the Watchtower is dying on it's posterior and there is little more to discuss anymore. It's all the same garbage. With the lockdowns and Jobos confined to their rooms instead of the Kingdom Hells, well, what can I say. It seems a bit dead out there.

We escaped the disgusting cult. however, a new cult has arisen recently (it seems), that of the politic. I think the seeming 'right wing' stuff is in opposition to another disgusting cult, not the Jobos, but the 'woke'.

I sometimes feel I'm talking about the same subject.

Anyway, that's my two penceworth. Bear in mind I have little interest in American politics being a Brit. Boy, are all American politicians straight out of the looney bin? (Still not interested )

You may have guessed that after being trapped in the bOrg all my life, I now totally loathe all authority.

I have noticed a self righteous sensitivity with some people. I don't have much to do with these sanctimonious pillocks because if I did I'd REALLY offend them.

Isn't it funny how the useless UK Police can find time to chase people that have offended some snowflake's feelings on social media but not want to tackle real crime. The UK Police seem to be more corrupt every day with officers being convicted of disgusting crimes all over the country. I have NO TRUST in them. I loathe the very uniform these filthy, disgusting, low life, pigs hang behind. They don't have a clue about the law, they just arrest and assault in their 2 tier policing.They take the knee to BLM. They have lost the plot. Sack Cressida Dick immediately. They look like they've stopped being public servants and become the violent arm of the political powers.

Anyway, rant over. Think what you want about what I've put, I have an opinion and won't be swayed by the Guardian reading, champagne socialist, perpetually offended boo hoo brigade.

Yes, there are pious attention seekers everywhere and they crave to be offended. Offense is turning into an industry almost.
