Of course I could be an old meanie and ask, 'which god and which son'?
when I left the jobos, I still believed in a 'Christian' god. Of course, how would I know if Vishnu, Allah or Odin wasn't the real god? The evidence is just the same....missing!!
I'm a little tired of all this god stuff. I will believe when there is sufficient actual evidence. If 'god' (whichever one), knew what would make me believe and hasn't, then either that god doesn't give a monkeys or doesn't exist.
So, for now, just because a good scam has worked on masses of people, doesn't mean that I'll fall for it anymore.

so, in the uk there was recently a bill which was nodded through parliament - the animal sentience bill - which was backed by vegan activists.. dogs, cats.

cows, even lobsters now have been recognised to have feelings.. first of all, let me say that if you want to go vegan that's fine with me.

we're all allowed our individual dietary choices.. but for how much longer?

I eat meat. As far as I'm concerned, if I was in the bush and an animal was hungry, they'd eat me alive. I don't think any of them would say, 'hey, don't eat Punky, he's a vegan!' So, I eat animals.
One of our school trips (this was the '70's after all), was to an abattoir. I do agree that animals should be treated better, but they wouldn't treat me better, so there is that!
I'm kidding.

Pretty much how I see it.
They love the booze and rock star luxury. Like George Carlin said of Politicians, same for religious leaders - It's a big club...and you ain't in it!

What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving and Christmas?
As a Brit, thanksgiving is meaningless to me.
As for Christmas, probably nothing much. I tend to end up at the Polish side of the family the day before hand to do a sort of Catholic Polish Christmas with communion wafers and fish.

Simon - The cheese curds ruin it
I know why they call it 'squeaky cheese'. That's the main bit we can't really get here (as I guess you know). The spuds seem different too. The nearest I can get here, is the newer type KFC chips (fries).

Even though I'm a Brit, mushy peas isn't something I like unless they're smothered in tommy sauce. My Mum loves them.

It changes from day to day. I can't say hand on heart that I have one particular thing.
Today I fancy Jamaican Rice and peas with beef, gravy and chicken. Probably Grape cola to drink.

How can you have a deficit for a Circuit Assembly on Zoom??

remember when after a circuit assembly the assembly overseer would come out right before the end of the assembly and make a special announcement;.

"brothers, we have a financial deficit of $5,000 dollars for our circuit assembly.

keep in mind that we have utilities and other expenses that need to be met.
