So what did the circuit overseers do during lockdown?
by ozziepost inso reading that the dubs are going back to their kingdumb halls got me thinking, i guess they haven’t been getting their regular inspections from thier circuit overseers.
if they haven’t had their meetings, the inspectors couldn’t visit - or did they?
i’m intrigued.

I received a letter from an unknown JW yesterday.

box for the congregation.?.
he/she wanted to share a positive message to me.quoting rev,21:34.then goes on to say ,"because death mourning and pain don`t exist in heaven these scriptures are referring to future conditions on earth and goes on to quote isa,55:11 ,job,14:14,15 ., and acts.24:15.. then the invitation,if i would like to know more ,to visit the jw.org website .and signed itself sage.. wtf ?.

I'm not sure what that means? I had a belief system set up around what came from the Americans at WT HQ. It was supposed to be from the Bible.
Not sure if that's what you mean.
After leaving the slaveholdery of the WTBT$, I became a mainstream Christian I think you could say.
Funnily enough, it was in a Church I concluded there was probably no God as per Bible or other 'Holy' book.....and probably no higher creating, influencing power at all. (I mean there is naff all out there and never was that made or guides us).
...............but I could be convinced otherwise with some sort of tangible evidence.

Actually, that's about the same as I felt about them in the Jobos. No change there.
2. the mainstream media is manipulative, devious, money loving scum.
Again, no change there.
3. There probably isn't a God, Gods or Godhead. I can't prove this either way but the cards are stacked in there not being a sky bigot. It's all a big fairy story that people have bought into or been forced into believing by unscrupulous attention seeking narcissists in funny hats.
Part of that is no change...although I wholly believe in God (the big J-man), when I was a Jobot.
4. People are a let down.
Nothing much to say about that.
Much of how I see the world may not have changed much. However, the bit without God is a real game changer because there is no future.

"bite” stands for behavior, information, thought, and emotional control.. some examples were thrown at me, such as the decisions of who we associate with, discouraging any worldy media, encouraging our brothers and sisters to report any of our misbehaviours to the elders, our rejection of criticism on the truth, shunning etc.. what do we think about this?.
