  Tonus - if I walked up to you and told you I was the faithful and discreet slave of scripture, would you feel obligated to disprove it?

  Even if I believed or didn't, I'd think anyone saying that was clearly bonkers and get away from them.

  would you ask why I believe that claim and how I can show it to be true?

  I'd be around the corner before you could say 'mental institution'.

  pimo , as i said i`m going out on a limb here and i might upset some people ,but i really don`t think this is a real strategy that works and doesn`t help the person who is still in.. while you may be doing this to keep the peace in the household and keep relations somewhat stable in the family arrangement ,it`s not helping the person who is still under the control of wt/gb to break free from it ,and isn`t that what you would really like to happen ?.

  and are their children involved as well ?

  that`s another issue ,the longer they are subject to this control the harder it will be for them to disengage get free.. maybe you should re-evaluate what you could do more to help your partner / spouse or whatever to free themselves from this bondage they have involved themselves in.. [ of course their may be others who are quite happy to have their partners/mates under the control of the wt/gb.

  jehovah's witnesses refuse to believe that jesus is the almighty god.

  they would state that jesus is 'mighty', but not almighty.. below is a 30 minute video proving from the word of god that the lord jesus christ is both mighty and almighty, separate from the father but equal too.. the verses used from scripture show without a doubt that christ is mighty (isaiah 9:6) and almighty (rev 1:7-8)..

  Firstly, prove to me that Jesus actually existed by using non bible evidence.

  Even if Jesus is proven to have existed, you then need to prove he was as the Bible says. Then you have to prove the miracles happened and so on. You can't. Then it'd be a struggle to prove God exists.

  I don't think anyone can because God and Jesus are just fiction that grifters use to get money and power.

  I feel a bit the same. When I see anything referring to 'Trump', I think, 'here we go! The tribes are at war again. America and the political sides. Ugh!'

  thousands of years ago .. genesis chapter 11: 1-9 and how god was affected by what man planned to do ?.

  build a tower into the heavens ?

  their is no end to what he may acheive having only one language .. today, in the year 2022.. not only are modern skyscrapers taller than anything that could have been built with the tower of babel in bible times ,but what is acheivable today in space far exceeds anything that could have been acheived back then.. and god / jehovah is silent ?.

  Zane has a really good explanation here. Were I a believer, I would go with it.

  However, I refer to my previous opinion that religion is just a big grift that we got drawn in to and is an utter waste of time.

  Eg - So what did God do?

  My answer, Nothing. It didn't happen. It's all fiction. I'm yet to see evidence of a god or gods.

  First prove to me that the Bible is 'Holy'. Not just by the book proving the book. Or prophecy being fulfilled when we're not even sure the prophecy pre-dates the event. If it even happened at all.

  I'm sure 'scholars will say....' but they're probably in with the grift.

  Do you see my dilemma?
