lamall. I've never been to the USA. I've seen America from the other side; Niagara falls Canada. Las Vegas just looks a bit tacky to me from what I've seen. I might be wrong, of course, because I'm not talking from personal experience.

I think I'd be happy living in Toronto or Ontario generally, if President Justin asked me over.

Although I live in the UK, I'm not impressed with it. It's becoming a bit of a crap-hole.

Why don't you move, then? I hear people ask. As if it's as easy as that, pffffffffff. what planet are they on? I'm working class, not a champagne socialist, Guardian reading rich hypocrite.

just an observation viewing some of their on camera appearances , and their arrogance believing they are the only one`s used by god to reach and teach the people ,despite what gj said at the arc on the subject.. no doubt the gb men wear designer tailor made suits from the best tailors in nys ?

and their wives adequately provided for in a similar way ?

nothing from kmart or target ,walmart or whatever.. shoes are probably made from form fit cobblers to fit the individual ?

Over the years I've met loads of different circus over-sneers and their wives. Some were lovely people, some were not, with all variations in between.

At the end of the day, (even at the beginning and middle), we're dealing with individual humans.

to me, at least, it's a given that humans are ultimately selfish, whether we know it or not, what's the bloody point in bothering? We'll all be dead soon anyway. Y'know, just to keep it positive.

Breezy - Likewise, in the Bible, the rod was applied to slaves and non-slaves alike.

I'm sure that was the culture for humans in those days.

But slavery is still evil isn't it? A loving god should have had it outlawed. Either god doesn't exist (seems most likely), doesn't care or is a sadistic piece of scum.

None of the stuff about historic punishment applies to the instructions a loving god would allow.

it's nice to be getting back into the swing of going to see bands again.

also, playing in a band too.. we've done a couple of gigs, which was great.

one of which, we had to wait to be paid because most people were paying by card.. i went to see steve hackett at leicester de mountfort hall last friday.

Fadey - I've seen Hackett a couple of times now, it's a good show. Mind you, some of his light displays blind me. Shame about Tull for you.

I'm not saying the Rona isn't a real thing. However, the politicians and media are probably drunk on the power it's given them. They will definitely lie about the figures. Of that I'm certain. Not only to cover up their blunders but to gain power.

Like George Carlin wisely said, “My first rule: I don’t believe anything the government tells me.”

EG: A relative of mine died with kidney failure due to old age. The hospital said he died 'with' rona, knowing full well that this would help inflate the reality of the figures. They use 'with' for 'of', which it isn't. It adds to the media's fear porn that they love to expouse.

My prediction is that we will be fed lies and fear about the rona so that we can be controlled more. There's something rotten in the state of Denmark!

The media and politicians are going to milk the rona for all they can. Mark my words. this won't go away any time soon.

I went to see Steve Hackett at Leicester De Mountfort Hall last Friday. He played some of the old Genesis songs too.

Blue Oyster Cult next year too.

1995 generation change

now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

I was pretty steadfast in the cult. I have to say, this did make me stop and think. Ultimately, it wasn't this that made me leave but did make me start losing faith in the WBT$.

Ezekiel's Temple Vision Changed

old timers, and elders who have served for decades took the change of the vision in ezekiel chapter 40 thru 48 without blinking an eye.

I found the more I tried to build myself up 'spiritually(tm)' by studying these things, when I was a Jobo, was the more confused I became.

I now realise it's because it was all just utter codswallop and will ever remain thus, no matter the changes.

It makes them feel special to have all this airy fairy secret knowledge......yeah, like you said 'nauseating'.
