  they identify themselves as the 'faithful and discreet slave' - that alone requires an astonishing degree of pride.

  but what is even more amazing - arguably to the level of insanity - is the way they then use that phrase to elevate themselves above the rest of the organisation.

  i wonder how many are like me staying pimo for the great association and gathering etc.

  also find it very interesting having a front row seat watching the collapse of borg.. im not wasting any more time or money on anything i don’t want to do like preaching and mostly just go on zoom .

  there is nothing i want to do that would be considered disfellowshiping sin, i’m married and want to live by bible principles but i have serious doubts that the gb were chosen by god and are his one and only spokesmen on earth.

  i tried to keep walking but my legs went straight to them like they had a mind of their own.. they pointed to john 17:3 on how to get saved.

  can anyone out there that is pimo give an update on the rate of kingdom halls closing in the uk?.

  i was expecting a fire sale a few years back but i haven't heard much.

  some congregations that were struggling back in my day still seem to be holding on to their halls..

  I'm hoping, given that our politicians are such self serving, narcissistic filth, they will wish to remain in their luxury far from the madding crowd, rather than become toast.

  IMHO, the trouble is, there really in not much democracy. We will just have to sit and wait to see if mushrooms sprout or not. We have no power to change things.

  New blood card system in March

  there is going to be a hole new system of blood cards this march .

  the congregation won’t hold any information as they did before from march it will be all put on the pub.

  i think it’s to do with vaccines and they are worried now they got everyone vaxed and they want to distance themselves from medical responsibilities and say own personal decisions.

  Elders are no longer teachers

  back in the day when i was a young witness lad, you very much got the impression that at least the training as theocratic teachers was good.. even the bible reading back then had a short introduction and conclusion.

  you had to research and prepare your own ministry school talks and then perhaps you would graduate to a half of a 55 minute public talk.

  then later if you were a book study conductor, you got to decide which scriptures to read and highlight.

  ES - I reckon I could do any Congregation Watchtower study with zero preparation. Just stand up, get the paragraph read, ask the questions, read the 'read' scriptures. Then after everyone would say 'what a great job you did today bro'.

  Been there, done that.

  Back then it was predictably formulaic. I don't know about today. It's been a long time since I saw Corporation(tm) propaganda. I feel the better for it.

  What are Elders since I fled the Corporation(tm)? I don't know. I really don't.

  jws will not salute the flag.

  however they will support the us constitution which gives congress the right to establish the military and to declare and to make war.

  isn’t that tant amount to supporting the country going to war?.

  I don't know about America, I've never been there. Although UK TV makes me feel like I know it well. Mind you, I have seen it from Niagara Falls, Canada side.

  As a kid I was forbidden to stand for the National Anthem so I used to forget to drop something and only find it when the anthem ended. I was so embarrassed being a Jobo as a kid. These are horrid and damaging memories.

  However, the Jobos wanted all the goodies they could scrounge off the state. That's why all the illegal immigrants flood the UK. We have fairly good benefits to scrounge.
