  Now that is an amazing thing to ask her. I am suitably impressed.

  She knew why she dillied and dallied, because she was ashamed that she really hadn't researched outside of the fake religion's own propaganda. In fact, I'd say her answer was a stock JW answer.

  How far has Watchtower and the GB of Jehovah's Witnesses gone to stalk and silence critics?

  we have all watched some of the documentaries about the church of scientology hiring detectives to stalk and harass their former members,( their "apostates").

  i have heard of individual cases of rabid jw elders stalking ex-jws, and of course, one would expect some enforcement of corporate copyright infringement on anti-jw websites.. what were the most outrageous jw "stalking" or investigation stories you remember?.

  tonight's 60 minutes into ebay stalking a middle-aged couple who writes a newsletter reminded me a lot of the menlo park congregation watchtower "takeover", closure, and stalking of local elders to mind.

  " the aim of this publication was to discredit the christian doctrine of the triune nature of god.

  the method that the society used to accomplish this goal was to quote from a plethora of resources, both secular and religious, such as dictionaries, encyclopedias, books and historical literature written by individual authors.

  Blimey. We are dredging the archives recently. I wonder what happened to a lot of these individuals that used to post here? Probably moved on.

  This is a subject I recall and one that helped me on my way out of the disgusting cult.

  I have totally given up on those in Political positions of power. I have no trust that they work for our betterment. They seem not to protect the people. Most are career Politicians only interested in their own wealth and prosperity. They all seem extremely out of touch with the people and even reality.

  I'm trying not to buy into the 'hidden hand' conspiracies but the alternative looks quite horrific.

  I have only seen bad things about Scotland's new 1st minister. He seems like quite a vile and disgusting individual.

  Shaking hundreds of hands every week: are JWs the only ones?

  we know that with our hands we touch what everybody else does: money, handles, buttons, etc.. we also know for sure, since the xix century, that our hands carry bacteria and germs causing serious illnesses because of that.. despite more than 25,000 jws dying because of the covid, showing they are not immune, they were proudly declaring how good they were in handling this pandemic.. now, jws have started to shake hundreds of hands per week at their meetings, like before, even if covid is not over yet demonstrating hygiene knowledge back to medieval times.. i am wondering: are they the only religion/community/group still doing this or others are doing the same?.

  Depends upon your view of the so called 'science'....which in itself depends on what narrative our dim witted, out of touch but rich politicians are promoting. None of it seems to be 'science' at all. Semantic games, more like.

  Fuzzy - The R&F do not know about this, as earlier Posts in this Thread have shown.

  They will be blissfully unaware of what's really going on as the JW TV personalities spew out the usual 'give us more money so you can live in paradise(tm)' propaganda.

  There is a big disconnect between how we see the fake region and how the Jobots see it.

  A lot of Jobots really are not interested in who is pulling their strings.

  Ignorance is bliss. They can't see that they're in a cult.........which is very cultish.

  Those in power want us to comply and cheer on the side that they designate for us. Whether we agree or not. Sadly, the majority of sheeple will take sides with whomsoever. Of course the dimwits comply and hound those that are not in 'the crowd'.

  What Will JW's Do If They Find Themselves Still Conscious after Death?

  we all know that despite many scriptures to the contrary, jw's believe that when they die, their consciousness will cease.

  my question is this: what will be the likely reaction of jw's if they find themselves conscious after death?.

  Supposing they aren't. Supposing there is nothing after you die?

  I have yet to meet someone that did live on either as a spirit or in any form.

  By 'test', they mean to only read JW publications(tm).

  Elder asks my disfellowshipped cousin to leave house while grieving for his grandmother

  fourteen years ago i started a thread on how horrible my disfellowshipped cousin was treated after his mom passed away and the terrible actions on the part of the elders at the funeral home.. 67. horrible conduct by congregation elders at my cousin's funeral.............. well, here we are 14 years later, and things haven't changed!.

  my aunt ( who is my disfellowshipped cousin's grandmother ) was placed in home hospice care.

  the nurse told her daughters ( who are jehovah's witnesses and live with their mother ) that their mom probably has 2 days left to live and that they should call the immediate family.. my disfellowshipped cousin and his sister show up in the early morning.

  The elder doesn't care, nor offers an apology for his behavior.

  ...and that says it all.

  It sums up how the Governing Body(tm) (Pee be upon them), have had their abusive attitude trickle down to the congregations(tm).

  I wonder how he'd feel if/when he finds out the Organisation(tm) is just a cash cow for the CEOs and only a big business pretending to be a religion?
