  my wife and i attended our last meeting last night.

  it wasn't so bad, since it was bookstudy and they threw a little party for us afterwards - we are moving to wa from pa next week.

  we will never set foot in a kingdom hall again - feels great.

  hi everyone, i just looked at my profile the other day and realized that i'd started posting over a year ago.

  in some ways it all seems so short this past year, like a blur in my life.

  yet i feel that i've gotten to know so many of you so well, i can't believe it's only been a year.. one thing that's really strange for me is the fact the no one i talk to or know has known me for more then 2 years!!!

  Was Rutherford drunk when.....?

  have any of you read the finished mystery that was written in 1917?

  it was started by russell and completed by rutherford who published it.

  i am half way through the book and have skimmed through the majority of it.. rutherford either had to be drunk or crazy when he wrote that pitiful interpretation of revelations.

  a woman who said her family was shunned after reporting sexual abuse by a jehovah's witness leader claimed in a federal lawsuit this week that the denomination protects pedophiles.. the suit by erica rodriguez, 23, now of sacramento, calif., contends the religion's policy has given pedophiles ''sanctuary, protection, sympathy and support'' while blaming and shaming victims.. rodriguez seeks undisclosed damages from the international watchtower bible and tract society, based in brooklyn, n.y., and manuel beliz, a former jehovah's witnesses leader in othello, wash., who was sentenced to 11 years in prison last year for molesting rodriguez.

  Flame Ups? Tired? Scared To Voice...............

  i am wondering how many here are often reluctant to post their true opinions on certain subjects to evade being flamed, made to feel lesser than human, or being ganged up on?

  i ask this as i have read threads and had things i would have liked to contribute, but feel i have already had so much stress that i cannot take the type of personal attacks that occur here.. before anyone jumps in and attacks that statement, i have had a recent physical illness that has stressed me beyond normal limits.. we have all seen it happen.

  then along comes a mr nice guy who sticks up for the attackers.. ana...,of the "just cannot be bothered class".. .

  i was talking to my friend again and i shared the http://circuitleasing.com page with her (she says she ordered a keychain).

  she was pretty disgusted by the blatant commercialism and wanted to know who owns the company?

  she also mentioned the fact that the wtbts is incorporated and since neither of us is very business savvy i was wondering if any of you knows what that means.

  But SDA's were never as staunch as JW's even though they have very close beginnings.
