we were taught in the wtbts as the bible clearly states that god created the heavens and the earth and on the seventh day he rested.. has it occurred to anyone else that god got up to a lot of wars ect whilst he was supposedly sleeping?????.
not only the wars but the actual writing of the bible which was pounded into us as being inspired by god.. if only i could do as much in my sleep.. ana....

does anyone really believe the jaydub fulfillment of the 2300 evenings and mornings from daniel 8:14?
it's in the bookstudy book, and was mentioned in the january 15, 2001 watchtower.
surely they don't really expect the flock to believe that a bible prophecy was fulfilled by a talk at a district convention.
I have tried to make sense of their new Daniel book.....to no avail!!!
Not only the 2300 evenings and days, but their direct associations they make with themselves and Hitler's persecution....

this is nothing to do with jws, but it is a true story.. one time i was with a few other mothers walking with our primary school children to the school bus.

I had a really embarrasing moment a year or so back....I caught a train to my local art supply store to purchase oils. I got off the train and walked to the lights and waited for the green walk signal.
As I walked across this WIDE road I felt my stay-up stocking start to slip....halfway across it slipped down....cars hooted....UGH...so I stopped in the middle of the road...slipped off my shoe....slid my hand up my skirt discreetly and removed the other....all with my head held high!!!!!
I got inside the art suppliers and blushed terribly.....I asked him for an extra bag!!!!

I, like Prisca do not wish to enter into a racism debate.
However, I have experienced racism. Both in Australia and UK.
Being half Russian and half Spanish with fair skin yet jet black hair makes me appear very Gypsy-like. I was teased mercilessly at school.
When I had twins, one girl, one boy, my son came out and still is chocolate dark...my daughter fair and blonde.......go figure
Well my son was called a Wog...like I was, yet my daughter was socially acceptable....
Now we are residing in Australia, albeit temporarily, I am treated well as I live in Melbourne...a highly Multicultural society....I love it!!!!
My son enjoys being accepted....and I feel it has been beneficial for him.
Recently I heard a great comment....can't remember who by...but it said...
"There is a great difference between racism and criticism, some people do not know the difference".
Oh well...just my two cents worth.
