And what are good little witnesses doing attending concerts.
Hypocrisy at its best!

hey danny i just wanted to mention not to use more than about 2 tablespoons of chivas for a big dish like a roast or brisket and for steaks, keep it to 1 teaspoon per steak.. right now, i'm learning how to cook beef brisket.
cooking one tonight i've been marinading since friday night.
i've been told you can marinade one in beer but haven't tried it yet.. mike.. expect nothing and you will never be disappointed,
Hate cooking.
just so certain ladies do not feel alone in cringedom i will confess my red-cheekers !.
i was a well-developed 15 yr old getting too volupteous for my school uniform ( ok too fat then) and the zip had bust on my only school skirt.
my mum replaced it using an old zip from another garment which happened to be quite a bit longer than a normal skirt zip.an unmarried brother came to visit one morning and was sat in our living room having a cuppa while i was frantically getting ready for school.
Thanks
for the laughs everyone. I've been ROFLMHO. Bugeye is wondering what the heck is wrong with me.
I love it. There's heaps of you out there, not just me who has these "embarrasing moments" of exposing ourselves to the world and making asses of ourselves.

BEW...yes dear...I thought of swallowing the gum...but as I said, he was inches from my face and was afraid he would notice my tongue working it back and the loud swallow!!!

You reminded me of a couple of my own, although I must admit nowhere near as good as yours.
One I remember was I was wearing a boob tube, (elasticated top with no straps). My brother was dragging me around the yard. Yes you guessed it ... my top came down and exposed my boobs. Very humiliating.
One time I was around 20 I was playing a game (no not sexually) with a guy against the wall. And what should happen but a fart popped out. We laughed and made a joke, but the embarrassment was extreme.
When I was about 19 I was at work sitting at my desk when I decided I needed the filing cabinet. My chair had rollers on the bottom, but of course they chose not to work this time and as I shoved back, my chair fell over backwards with me still on it ...legs up in the air.
The worst part was there were 3 guys sitting at their desks behind me who enjoyed the floor show so much not one of them came to help me up. For years I burst out laughing with embarrassment every time I remembered that moment.
I had good sized boobs too and was forever looking down and realising I was exposing myself to the world.
Tracey - whatever were you thinking .... swallow the gum.

Not so pleasant memories
i was raised a poor white child in the deep south...ok, florida, where i still am.
i was the typical slightly self righteous witness, miss goody goody, left school at 16 to pioneer, which i did for 4 years, met a guy and married him.
he had 2 kids from a previous marriage and we had 2 kids of our own.
Ohhhhhhh Tracey ... thannnkkk you
Hey everyone I'm officially adopted.
The pain bit ... well I don't know about that bit
And I also feel like "I have made more friends here, true friends, than I EVER did at a Kingdom Hall.". And you know the amazing thing is that you may not like the things some say in their posts, and even wonder how they can say some of the things they do, but you can go into chat and have a great time with them anyway. I love it!
You can be yourself, say what you want (within reason of course) don't want to hurt anyones 'peelings'. And have a great time. Thank you everyone.
We look forward to "getting to know you and your wonderful family better." too.
And yes I am "married to a gentle soul," and we were definitely "meant to be together." As well as everything else, we're soul mates.
Like you with Doug I got a good one.
With love to my sis.

Thank you for sharing your life experience. You have come through a lot of pain. But you have found peace at last with a wonderful husband.
You a "slightly self righteous witness, miss goody goody" ... the sort that urked me, lol. Glad you've changed.
And I'm happy to call you my friend.

she had trained with virginia satir, who is now long dead, and vs had invited her to be part of her peace group.
