Sorry to hear about your depression headisspinning. I also suffered from depression caused by anxiety. Being kind is really the key to good social behavior. You are right Quentin being kind does make a difference when we are dealing with others. I remember many years ago I was driving in a city that I was not from. I was kind of lost and looking for the street were my work was. I pulled out of a side street not realizing I cut someone offf. The next stop light this person got out of his car went up to my car and started shouting at me and wanting me to get out of my car and fight him. I looked at him and told him I was sorry I did that and I was lost and I did not mean to cut him off. I was sorry please forgive me. This guy went from crazy angry to apologetic. He apologize to me and said he was a christian and should not have gotten so mad. He shook my hand and told me to have a good day. I was in my 20's at the time and I learned a vaulable lesson. Be kind to others. It does work. The times I wasn't always ended up in disaster. Totally ADD

Does the WTBTS purposely distort the number of anointed remaining?

i read a statement by someone that i trust that the wtbts purposely distorts the number of anointed left alive in their reports.. i used to be a jehovah's witness.
i know all of their teachings very well.

My wife and I were married in 1974 the congregation we were in had 8 anointed ones. All elderly and most of them personally knew Russell and Rutherford except one who was in her 50's at the time and a few bricks shy of a load. They all died off by the late 70's. Then in the late 80's and early 90's a group of women from the surrounding congregation mostly in their late 30's and 40's got together and decided they were anointed. Head of that group thought she was talking to Jesus and started to tell the body of elders what to do. She was later DF but the rest remained anointed. Today in the last congregation I was in we had one who was anointed. She is under court order to that her medication. She is Bi-Polar and gets violent when she goes off her medication. Which has happen serveral times since we know her. Last CO wife claim to be of the anointed she is in her 40's. My observation on this matter is the congregations today are full of emotionally ill people and those who claim to be of the anointed have some serious emotional issues. Of course none of this matters at all. It is a CULT. Totally ADD

One more thought on this. You are looking for a really smart lawyer so you go out and interview 2 lawyers. When you enter the first lawyers office you see all of his credentials and diploma on the wall of were he went to college. When you enter the second lawyers office all you see is a framed letter saying I have read the WT and Awake for 20 years so I am as smart as a lawyer. Which one you choose? Totally ADD

When I heard that elders were on their own hung out left to dry. Thats when I made a big effort to step down. There are other reasons but this was one of them. Also they don't disfellowship on blood or voting. But if you do them you are consider automatically disassociated. Same thing but diffrent wording. It's all about their play on words. I started to see this a few years ago and it really scared me. Another thing they are doing is getting their name on the congregation bank accounts now. They use the quise that it is easier for the congregation to send them money. Not one elder even blink a eye when that letter was read. Me on the other hand could only say Oh My God it is all about money. There are reason that many MS are not wanting to be elders and many men who are not wanting to be MS. The last elder school I was at they talk about this concern. WT knows why and they know their back is up against a wall. So look out they are coming out swinging. Thanks Randy good post. Totally ADD

How does higher education glorify you? What they are really saying is we don't want you to have any self esteem. Because people with that are harder to control. People with low self esteem are easier to control. What kind of parents wants their children to develop low self esteem so they can be controlled by a cult. Education build's you up and they want that. Just as wobble said education teaches critical thinking and self esteem when you are able to think clearly and get the right answers to your questions. back 2002 i had a my daughter.
i was 18. her father was was pretty much an awful mate and never worked....the same old story.... anyway a long story short we ended up moving in with his aunt, who at the time, was a sister.

Please excuse me if I don't have the hold story straight. Its hard for me to read all this imformation because of my ADD. It sounds like the elders are covering up or excusing this guy's past actions. One who is a victim like yourself and that is what you are is a victim of a very violent crime should take action against this creep. What will stop him from doing this again. Now maybe just maybe because of your age difference you being 22 and him 17 at the time. The authorities might think of him as a minor. So the budren of proof may be on you. I don't know. All I do know is this creep is a pioneer and a MS and he should not be. What will stop him from doing this again? He has done it before he will do it again. I am so sorry what you went through being a victim of a violent crime like this. I know you feel trap right now. But you can get out of that trap by opening up your eye's and realize you are in a cult. May I suggest you go get some counselling to help you cope with the rape. It will teach you are not the bad one but the victim. My heart goes out to you and I am so sorry for what has happen to you. There is a better world out there it just not in this cult. Totally ADD
