I really don't know if you can fairly blame anyone for how the virus has been handled. So called "experts" disagree and continually change their opinions. Masks won't help. Masks should be mandatory. Etc.

Look at all the "western" Nations. Which have a better success rate with handling the virus? Did they do a lockdown? (Italy) Did they remain open? (Sweden)

In the beginning, it was "trial and error" as NO ONE knew what the virus was. There was a "learning curve". And now 9 months later, there still is no absolute consensus -- even on masks -- let alone treatments, etc.

Would the Biden Administration have done better? (Go see the Obama-Biden handling of Swine Flu.) I don't think things would be much different regardless of who was "calling the shots" on the matter.

Defunding of Law Enforcement (while the rich have their private armed guards)

Oppressive EPA rules and regulations that shut down energy production and manufacturing

Taxes that crush the middle class out of existence (leaving only two clases -- the mega rich and everyone else at the below them)

Free HUD housing, SNAP, and healthcare for illegal immigrants

Do elders go after people like they did before? Years ago elders it would be looking for things.

I think only real zealots typically "go after" typical JW's in an effort to "keep the Cong clean". Although if one of the Elders or the BOE has if out FOR YOU they may go after YOU. And, if you're stirring up shit vs quietly leaving or "fading", they may go after you in an effort to control what you are saying to JW's still "in".

Tell those at greater risk to take special precautions to protect themselves, but tell the rest of Society to go back to living their lives as they see fit for their own circumstances.

It's real. Approx 500-600 die per day with (not necessarily "from") CV19

In comparison, 1600 die each day from cancer and even more die each day from heart disease.

The US State with the highest daily death count is Florida. Why? This disease is hell for old people. They should take special precautions. OTOH, our 30-something yo son and his GF both had mild symptoms and tested positive and were moderately sick for 3 days, and back to work in less than 2 weeks. People like them need to stop living their lives in fear and just start living their lives again like normal people.

I'm assuming that "full figured" means "fat". A person who is obese might not only be found to be "physically unattractive" (society is like that today), but there is also the issue of it being very unhealthy. At 44yo you're probably about to see that, if you are not already. Diabetes. Heart disease. High blood pressure. Knee and hip replacement.

Forget about finding the perfect man. Quit drinking booze (if you do). Get on a strict diet (2000 cal or less). And exercise -- walk walk walk. You'll feel better and you'll even look better.

It's not gonna happen. The Republicans have always been weak when it comes to enforcing the Law.

I think the Republicans fear that they'll be the next ones caught at something and they don't want to set a precedent of sending politicians to prison.
