"outside of time" argument
by Blotty inthis is going to be very brief but a user recently tried to argue an argument that has already been refuted many times - the logic is somewhat sound but falls apart when the definition to the word used it looked and its usages in the bible.the word in question is "aionas" found in the scripture in question hebrews 1:2 .

here is a talk by jeffrey jackson on how the governing body ''the slave class'' has remained spiritually awake over 100 years and alerted its members.. he looks back on the ''faithful and discreet slaves'' false dates over the 100 years: '' but at times, we look back over 100 years, and there were times they got excited about a certain year or time, and the end didn't come at that time.''.
he makes the comparison between the ''slave class ( who disappointed others when the end didn't come ) to a barking watchdog ( who in his enthusiasm barks at nothing in the middle of the night and wakes up the owner).

A battle between the grumpy old men. It is a toss-up this early.
340 MILLION AMERICANS and these two are the choiceTrump may indeed turn out to be the "choice" of GOP primary voters. However, Democrats will likely not have any choice in the matter any more than they did in the previous election where the DNC forced all other viable (ie, Bernie) candidates to drop out and throw their support to Sleepy Joe. While it appears to be going the same way this time, I suspect Biden will be thrown to the curb, either due to all the corruption charges or just due to the fact that he has nothing further to offer as he is becoming too obviously incompetent. Then there will be the "surprise candidate" late in the game -- maybe not until the Democrat Convention. Although there are not many strong candidates on the bench. Michelle could sweep in and it would be over.

AT LEAST 50% of GOP politicians openly hate him and many more are afraid to admit that.

Update: Its been awhile.. Sorta a long post but i'll have a TLTR at the bottom.
by Jayk inlast time i was really active on here i just found out ttbtt.. i was 28 at the time and now im 33. a lot has gone on but im finally able to live my life.
have my own apartment, steady job, a dog.
a big event that recently happened was a little of a year and a half ago my jw mom passed away.. i hadn't talked to her in over a year prior and i almost didn't go see her before she did.

Do you recall in the 1940's/1950's when the WT won 49 of 50 cases in the US Supreme Court. Surely evidence of Jehover's Blessing. But that was last century. Today, it would appear they cannot win a case, even if the decision costs them MILLION$.
