I think that thought would leave a lot of JWS thinking of you as an ungrateful prick.

Will recent dress-code changes affect the WTS negatively?
by Wonderment inin a span of a few months time, we have had many unexpected changes announced by the jw organization.
some here have expressed the belief that a great number of witnesses will leave the religion.
in fact, there is a great probability the opposite will be true.. yeah, ancient hardliners will have a hard time assimilating these changes, but the younger generation will likely welcome these changes.

both were candid enough to tell me that they could not focus on the biblical discourse because they had a beautiful woman right before them with thin white pants showing her assets. It seems they both enjoyed the show (She even said so, I was stunned)
What? Young women who have experimented playing on both teams!
I think it's more common than not today.

The men who . . . . creepily complement young sisters on their appearance all the time, seemingly unaware that everyone realizes he's a pervert. . . .
. . . . and sniff their hair.

New light on shunning?
by Mikejw inone theory why tony was booted out was because he was a stickler for not changing the shunning doctrine.
he actually said the words we will never ever change it.. they are slowly deleting all of tony’s videos and now losing court cases and losing government hand outs in places like norway.. it’s looking very likely they will release new light on shunning policy after losing this latest one in norway.. .
what are the odds they coincidentally get new light from jehovah and lighten up their shunning policy ?.

I agree that there IS a distinction in the minds of Jehovah’s Witnesses regarding a Disfellowshipped person versus a Disassociated person.
A Disfellowshipped person would be viewed as more ‘desirable’ in their eyes because they have a ‘weakness’ and the religion rejected them. They can ask to come back.
Whereas a Disassociated person has seen through the religion and doesn’t want any of it!.. Very Bad in the egotistical religion’s eyes! How Dare anybody reject their magnificence! There are those who took the route of DAing to avoid the inquisition of 3 nosy-ass elders. Easier to give them the finger and send a letter saying FU, than giving them an audience where they treat you like shit.

A Positive Approach to discussing the changes - Gov Body Update Aftermath
by Jehalapeno inso, just got off a very emotional, but positive call with my father.. this past weekend, he wanted to give me a call, but i was out of town at a wedding, so he said he'd call me later in the week.. he texted me the governing body update video with the recent changes and said, "i thought you might be interested in some of the changes that were just announced.".
i'm tired of self-censorship, so i decided to reply as truthfully and respectfully as i could.. my reply to him:.
it's interesting.

Perhaps the loosening of how disfellowshipped ones being treated at the Kingdom Hall made it so his conscience allows him to open up the relationship again since I’m only “inactive” on paper?
While you can still get soft shunned by most PIMI JWs for just being "inactive" (fading?), it is a great loophole for those who choose to go that route.

Who really is the Faithful and Discreet Slave? The recent changes and the Governing Body's 10 year plan
by redsetter2 ini am sure we were all shocked at the governing body update #2 with the unusual and impulsive changes set forth.. i am an insider at whq, and when i was on reddit and in communication with avoidjw i explained to the best of my ability that the approach on disfellowshipping was going to change based on the new light at the 2023 agm, that the jubilee rumor was false, and there were going to be changes on how jws approached disfellowshipping in response to the norway situation if it didn't turn out in watchtower's favor.
the decision came because of a legal blow to watchtower, not because "holy spirit" wad directing a faithful slave, who is going to become the "evil slave", more explanation on this soon.. everything i stated came true.
i left reddit exjw community due to the immature and mentally unstable nature there, and yet as has been the case my words came true.

Weeks? You're doing pretty damn good there!
Remind me to whom you were referring?

When will the Watchtower Society be desolated?
by Hiddenservant indid you know that the answer is provided in the scriptures through the 70 weeks prophecy?.
daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy explained.. the 70 weeks were split into three parts.
here is the reason why.. the prophecy is not only about the messiah, it is also about god’s people and the holy city, as verse 24 makes clear.

Shall we base our opinion on WT's lifespan, a modern multi-billion dollar corporation, on the 3000 year old writings of a goat herder?
Makes sense considering how accurate all that other story telling has proven to be.

consequences for going against the direction.
by jehovaxx inthere are no serious consequences for doubting the gb.
there are no consequences for going against the direction.
we can now celebrate anything.. what will happen if you take blood, celebrate xmas and birthdays ect?.

This sounds like PR spin rather than an actual change
We will have to see how all of these "drastic changes" really work in the real world of WT. So far, we see big changes in what's written for public consumption, but will it really be implemented? An even bigger question is: Will it ever be implemented with as drastic of changes and as liberally interpreted by the wishful thinking JWs and ex-JWs and PIMOs, etc?
Will it really be evenly implemented in all locations? This drastic adjustment stems from issues WT is facing in Europe. They will never face these things in the USA due to the long-held "separation of Church and State" policy. US politicians do not want to alienate the Christian block of voters (and other denominations would rally against anything challenging that policy). So, IDK if we will really see it in practice here in the US as liberally as is suggested. Likely, a lot could depend on the local BOE. If the BOE is out to get ya, you better start your "fade", or at least relocate to a more friendly congo. Time will tell.
