  Where is Tony?

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  Bet he wishes he had done that on his past trips to Liquor World.

  In the grand scheme of things, he's just not that big of a deal

  I think AMIII was one of the most visible of the GB. Ole Rubber Face is probably more recognizable because of his facial mannerisms. Maybe Herd as he is the only black GB. But after those considerations, I think Tony is most memorable. For one thing, he was a better speaker than the others. And you have to admit he made some shocking statements that made him memorable.

  So, I think it's amazing there are no reports of him being sighted. There are, after all, PIMO "spies" everywhere! That's something WT cannot fix and it has got to bug the hell out of them! I suspect he is intentionally staying incognito.

  i wonder how these sisters feel about their private details being available to these creepy elders?.

  Does anyone know how long they keep these forms for? I was dfed 15 years ago, would they still have paperwork pertaining to me on file?

  It's been over 20 years since I was an elder. Back then JC files for those "reproved" were retained fr 5 years after all privileges were restored. DF files were kept until 5 years after reinstatement (so maybe indefinitely) except anything pertaining to CSA were to be kept indefinitely.

  I don't think I ever knew of any Cong Secty that destroyed old files. There were in sealed envelopes in the locked file box in the "elders room".

  Perhaps lawsuits and privacy issues have motivated WT to see that things are handled per their rules. CYA is the foremost policy.

  Would making info available that had to do with a past JC not be violating that member's right of confidentiality? Remember-- WT argues in court that such JC's are subject to "Clergy-Penitent privilege". If one's "confidential file" is made available to anyone else (are you saying all elders?), would that not constitute a violation of the member's rights?

  Could this result in a new barrage of lawsuits?

  People who work free for the cult for many years

  i have a question i did not get any feed back for on another site.

  what to these people who gave decades working for free in bethel when they are 60 plus years old.

  They are constantly told that Jehovah will provide for them. "Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" (Matt 6:6)

  

  In most cases they move back home and rely on family, or the local congregation members (Note: NOT the Congregation) may assist them. That could be assisting them with finding some low paying job for a wealthy brother in business or more likely, assisting them to sign up for government assistance programs. In the US that is Medicaid, SNAP (food stamps), etc

  Half hearted JWs compared to past generations

  is it just me or has there been a massive change in jws of late?.

  when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .
