thoughout my life i have seen many take the walk of shame that is disfellowshipping.
i have never been df'ed, but i have had many experiences reading the faces of newly df'ed ones.. their faces are always the same.
defeated by a foe that they never had a chance with in the beggining; a raping so-to-speak.
be careful with the details, there is more eyes than just ex-JWs watching this forum
Has anyone else noticed all the posts recently that ask for personal details? How high in the org did you rise? What kind of car was your favorite? etc
Or am I just paranoid overly cautious?

The people who WRITE this stuff really believe they have to do SOMETHING to stop the bleeding hemmoraging.
It's the people who READ this stuff who really do believe what is being said. Obviously not ALL, but MOST. At least until something significant enough happens to them to open their eyes.

on saturday, my ex husband went on the platform at the one day circuit assembly and slandered me in front of 800+ people.. my jw family is even up in arms because he basically lied and ruined any last bits of my reputation that i had left, the worst part is this was elder sanctioned.. i am really exhausted from all the upheaval so i will get right to the point.

If any of those involved are in a small town, it would be great to be able to file a lawsuit even if you didn't really follow through with it (very costly) just so it would hit the small town newpaper. Newpapers never follow up on things that are dropped. That isn't "news".

The BIG Deal is that if it is his intent to eventually move back to "St Louis" but his publishers' cards are lost somewhere in some Chicago suburb, then the St Louis area congregation have no authority to DF or DA him. They cannot do so without Pub Cards, as he is not under the jurisdiction or their congo. It would take A LOT or work on some poor Cong Sect to have to track all that back down between two or three (or more) congs.
