yes yes it`s true they are sending out more regular pioneers that is because they are changing the status of the special pioneers so they no longer have to pay them an allowance, then they get to keep more of the contributions for themselves. You can bet your bottom dollar that the babble crap society hasn't told them that. OMG this makes me feel so mad, is there anything that comes from the WTBTS that isn't tainted with falsehood. They lie all the time by omission, deliberately withholding information from the congregations when they have a bloody right to know. It`s cause half the JDub`s would walk out if they actually knew the facts. The Bastards! -

All It Takes Is ONE!
by John Aquila inive been reading all these posts about bethelites and special pioneers being kicked out in the street and being forced to get a job to provide for themselves..
and im trying to put myself in their situation and feel the emotions that must be going through their mind.
what if my wife and i both dropped out of school to pioneer and got married at 18. and what if we were very faithful in listening to everything the organization says.

John Aquila another beautifully written thread. That I fear is how it will be for many. Surly it would have been a kindness on the part of the borg to get the younger ones integrated back into society as I would be so much easier for them to cope.
Simon, I`m afraid that I feel the Borg is absolutely responsible for these ones fate. You have to remember these people believed they were serving their heavenly father, many would be completely sincere in their endeavours, is a child to blame for the abuses inflicted on it by an unloving parent. I know what your going to say they aren't children, but we are all children of God at least according to the Borg. Now many of the ones dropped will feel abandoned & that will have a profound effect on their mental & emotional well being. I think it is cruel.

Hello again Wirerider, Aside from the forum here where some-one can talk freely without judgment, I would recommend Exiting the JW cult: a healing hand book by Bonnie Zieman. Yes you do have to buy it however it`s not really expensive & the information & advise she offers having been raised a JW for 30yrs, experienced the challenges of leaving, was a licenced psychotherapist I have found to be of great value. You could probably borrow one from the library at no cost at all as well. Are you thinking of yourself or for your ex? -

Eyes looking right, right sided parts of the brain, can be a warning sign of fabrication if the person is supposed to be recalling & stating fact`s. Basically making things up. Slow head nodding, this can also be a faked signal. Not once did his eye`s move to the left. Very interesting. He seems to me to not believe what he is saying. I wounder if we will see another GB go, as did Raymond Franz. -

Template to dump Special Pioneers
by avaddohn94 in"downsizing" has reached special pioneers.. this is the template mexico is using to get rid of many of its special pioneers.
see how cold and unloving is the language they use.
a translation attempt is as follows:.

I think the reason they are making them re-apply is to find out exactly who they still have control over & who complains (these one`s will need to be silenced).
Sparrowdown, I liked your comment don't forget though there are also one`s that are sincere & haven't looked down on others.
The saddest thing here is it may cause more suicides, especially for the poorer ones who have nowhere to go. For the older ones to have to start all over again, go find work in a country that is poor that many are trying to get out of. WOW can you imagine the anxiety they will face. Do you think there will be counselling set up for them to help them cope? No bloody way. 13 weeks & your out.

Wirerider the point is this, when some one has been abused be it physically/mentally/emotionally/sexually you cannot make it not happen, it has already been, what you can do is help with the healing process by being present for that person to tell their story to. By listening or in this case reading theirs & for them to read others experiences one can begin to bind up the wound not so that a scar doesn't remain but so it is not so painful a burden to bear. Basically undo the great sadness put on ones from this organization. You are writing from your anger, we have all done it, & that is o.k because it helps you to release it & in turn helps others to know that they aren't alone. See it`s simple really that is what we are all doing here. Releasing, listening, supporting & if you read some of the post`s laughing. Well that's how I see it, maybe I`m wrong. -

My husband & I went for coffee the other day, across the road was a grave yard & I wanted to walk around it reading the head stones. It was actually quite a beautiful moment in a strange way because it touches every emotion & that teaches you something. To speak the names out loud somehow made them live again, to see the couples who were still together in death, whole families back to the late 1800`s & sadly the children, one little grave brought a lump to both of our throats. My husband found it sad as it brought up a sense of guilt that he hadn't been at his fathers funeral. He was able to talk about it & realised that being there to see his dad before he died was more important & so could now let that feeling go. For me now knowing that I would one day face death & lay amongst all the ones gone before made me think of all the good things in my life, I have exceeded my own expectations, & while I may struggle with anxiety & feelings of not being good enough things will get easier & I should embrace the journey & experience. What it showed us above everything else is that life is precious & we should treasure the moments we have every day no matter how small. All in all it helped to take the fear of death away, it sure was a peaceful place to be. -

Tired of the truth... Tired of doubting
by Deltawave ini'm reaching out here, i've known ttatt for about 3-4 years now.
sadly when i first grasped it i had a total mental breakdown as i was a hard core firm to the core pioneer and 110% believer of my faith.!
now nearly 2years on after my breakdown i still have to attend to please my jw wife.

Deltawave this is a most unpleasant time for you & incredibly hard to come to terms with. You wrote you had a mental break down, 2 years isn't a very long time. I would not worry so about your wife at the moment. You don't have to go on ministry & you don't have to go to the meetings. Just explain to her that you need for your brain to rest so that it can heal. Help her to get organized to go then sit quietly have some alone time to relax. You arent well there is nothing wrong with that if those at the hall don't understand then they are the assholes, not you. Are you sleeping? this is very important we NEED sleep to function. If you feel you can face it see what is available in your area for counselling. Do what you can, try not to do what you cant or don't want to. SABIN. -

Hello Wirerider, it`s so nice to meet you. You sound very frustrated by your own situation, understandably so. Let me ask you all your studying & learning & reasoning while making sound sense didnt get your girl back did it. I would recommend that you read Steven Hassan`s book, Combating Cult Mind Control. You will have a better understanding of why they are so good at manipulating people. You don't just walk into an international company employing 8000,000 people & shut it down, however you may moan a lot about the conditions or wages, only a fool would leave without having another job lined up & that could take time. Besides you have to remember their are many who are perfectly content with the conditions & it would be a disservice to expect them to leave. We believe in freedom of choice on this forum. Please stay & join us you sound like a most interesting young man your thoughts are most welcome. -

where shall we go
by Sabin inyesterday i read something that hurt my heart.
at a talk given by a brother lyman swingle ( i apologize if i am stepping out of line by using this) he said "that if you leave the jw ( i find it difficult to refer to it as the truth now days) you may as well go jump off a bridge".
this i think is disgraceful talk to say to any body let alone an audience in which children are present.

PeteZ, Luke 11: 46, I think would be an appropriate scripture here "Woe to you who are versed in the law, because you load men with loads hard to be borne, but you yourselves do not touch the loads with one of your fingers!
I must confess I didnt even think about the particular wording, I just thought how wrong it was to use scriptures to pull people down when they should be used as a comfort. You are quite right though to point this out.
WHOM- relative pronoun, person-Jesus.
WE - personal pronoun, subject-disciples.
YOU - personal pronoun, 2nd person being spoken of by 1st person.
Interestingly Whom is used here as it is formal as opposed to Who which is neutral. Giving more weight to the scriptures subject Jesus.
I have learnt something new today. Thank you.
