i'm just wondering, i read on another thread that as a unwritten rule ivf is a no no.

i've never heard this, so it got me thinking about other things like getting sterilised i've heard differing views on this.

some say it's fine others say the society say's no.. what about circumcision, in the u.k. & oz it's not so big (excuse the pun) but i watched a doco that said it was a big deal in america & most men have it done.

one who has sincere doubts orquestions should be kindly aided inthe spirit of galatians.... i am forced to conclude that many of you didn't get any aid because your doubts were fake.

so according to the wt manual, your main sin may have not been doubting, but faking having doubts.

Some new treatments for Depression

here are some new treatments for depression.

i am not a doctor don't take this as medical advice do your own research.

but this is worth looking into.

Depression means different things to different people & so the treatments that work for one may not work for the other. One mans poison is another mans medicine so as to speak. Most depression can result from inner anger that has not found a safe release & is therefore internalized. I have watched a documentary that discussed the TDCS treatment & found it most interesting. Strangely enough if the brain is put through constant high stress levels without let up for a long enough period of time it will infact induce a seizure on it's own as a coping mechanism, so I can see how this could be effective as it forces the brain to rest from thinking. As far as magnets go once again there are several studies which have show that magnetism can play an important role to our over all well being & that Geo-pathic stress can be the cause of a number of health problems from depression to cancer. The book of Magnet Healing, by Roger Coghill is an excellent read if your interested in this subject, it also gives sound advise on how we can protect ourselves in our homes from the artificial electric fields that we live with everyday.

Hello Mr ex- Mormon man, I'm Sabin. Growing up as a jw is different for each child, prob's the same as the Mormon's, some are hard core parents, poor kid's, whereas others are really soft & don't follow the rule books. At the end of the day if you got loving understanding parents that in-courage you to be yourself & love you no matter your believes then what ever religion your in your going be better off than a kid who is being out rightly abused. It's nice to have some-one on the forum from a different religious cult I do hope you will stay.

In the u.k you have to pay a licence every year for the privilege of having a television in your home. I remember one time you had to do the same if you owned a dog (Dog licence). I think the WTBTS should bring out a CART LICENCE, shall we say $50 per cart every year. Yes you have to pay for the privilege of sitting on your arse for a few hours a week. Make the pioneers pay for it as their the ones using it the most.

What do you think, should I send my idea to them?

Jehovahs Witnesses and the Name , HOW Important. ?

jehovah`s witnesses place great emphasis on the importance of god`s name as jehovah .so much so that they are often accused by christendom`s religions as substituting jehovah for christ.. the old testament ( hebrew scriptures identify god as the tetragrammaton four hebrew consanants yhwh and not jhvh.

as mistakenly believed by a 13th century spanish monk .. modern scholars including the j.w.`s agree that the more accurate pronunciation of gods name would be more nearer to yahweh than the name jehovah .. so why do j.w.`s insist on the name ?

what I find most ironic is that they jump up & down declaring how important God's name is to them & how it must be put on high BLAH BLAH BLAH! & yet they themselves have reduced it to a mere letter J.....w.org.

How would you like it if you were referred to by a single letter.

Should I be mad?

i've been df'd for about six weeks now.no one has broken the obligation to "honor the disfellowshipping decree".that's the way notorious co paul kohler describes the "loving arrangement" that is jw shunning.

( just "serving" napa ).

so, my wife's family has been "loving me" ( barf ) when out of nowhere, one of them sends home homemade soup for me.... well, i got super pissed.

Stranger in my own house, Since my wife and i don't talk much anymore nor sleep in the same bed. i feel like a stranger.

GTTM, this is terrible for you & for the kid's, are you sure there isn't more to it then just the cult? I'm sorry for asking, it's just that she has no ground's if she's serving God to do this to you, it's scripturally wrong. You have every right to sleep in your own bed. Have you tried to get back in tell her your not sleeping else where & give her a hug. Has she told you she no longer loves you? maybe you should ask her out right, & ask her where she wants to go from here. The longer you leave it the worse it's gonna get. You need to know where you stand man, or you will start to get sick. It kinda sounds like she wants you to commit adultery so she can get out without any blame. Hope I'm wrong mate but something smells off to me. Hope you got some friends you can go have a drink with. Big Hug. SABIN
