  o.k i`ve just been watching the demonstration for the new meeting format & have fell about laughing.

  is this some kind of joke.

  did anyone find it totally ironic that they are using a mag on honesty, honestly are they f...king off their heads.

  O.k I`ve just been watching the demonstration for the new meeting format & have fell about laughing. Is this some kind of joke. Did anyone find it totally ironic that they are using a mag on HONESTY, honestly are they f...king off their heads. I mean let us read this biblical principle Hebrews 13:18, " we wish to conduct ourselves honestly in all things".

  What the.... I seriously cannot believe the outright cheek after what has been revealed at the ARC. All I can do is laugh at the front they have. They can lie outright to millions of people & then publish a mag about honesty, get the one`s they lie to, to go deliver it to peoples door`s. These men should come with a warning label. God`s chosen one`s, I`m beginning to think they may be the reason he created us with a middle finger.

  Just recovering from a 'Mormon Mind Melt' ...

  i was in town centre about an hour ago to buy a shirt and tie for an upcoming job interview when i was stopped by a youngish, clean cut american young man (20-ish) in a cheap suit.

  my heart sank as i thought it was local jws.

  to my slight relief, it was mormons!

  The mormons must be getting something right or getting bigger blessings than the JW`s isn't there like 15 million of them. I remember telling my kid`s about their calendar & how good looking Mormon men had their pic`s taken without their shirts on with a bible in their hand, of corse they didn't believe me till I showed them on the net. They couldn't believe their eye`s. I gotta say they do have some very handsome young men in there. Caused a bit of controversy I believe.

  Love is like God.

  neither, can be proven only to the believer can they exist.

  we could therefore say that a persons feelings on god and love are simply chemical reactions produced by the brain.

  however what i find interesting is that if a certain part of a persons brain gets damaged their personalities and emotions can radically change.. the rebel..

  My dear Morpheus, I do so apologize if you thought my words were directed at you personally I assure you they were not. I just made a statement of how I personally feel about the younger generation. There is a beauty in the simple way children see things as adults when we express an appreciation for that as apposed to correcting them all the time then we encourage them to explore more & learn their own truths be it God or not. This is something the WTBTS neglects to realise, they do not understand Jesus words to become like a child.

  I hope that I have explained myself better, I in way wished to suggest you were lacking in humility.

  Morpheaus, if you go through life looking at everything through your own eye`s & never through the eye`s of a child, it is because you have neglected to humble yourself, & therefore you never see the wonder or beauty around you & you never learn the things that only a child can teach.

  This isn't something I can explain to you, you have to work it out for yourself. Children offer much wisdom for those not to proud to learn. It is sad, I think for you, that all you have to say about the words of a little one is negative. Does it really matter weather you think she is wrong?

  Rebel, what are you talking about. Love comes from what is inside us. A person who willingly sacrifices their life for a complete stranger is not just an act of bravery it is also an act of love. Love is more than the brain or the heart it is the whole being, it is a warmth, a light that cannot be made to go out. If there is no love then there can be no hate either. Do you believe there is hate in the world?

  Thank you Crolson that is very thoughtful of you. Yes lots have left & are very hurt by the injustices done. However I must say that this is so of all religions so while you may find many things wrong with the way the organization conducts itself I hope you will not be to judgmental on the every day jW who in the main are just trying to do their best. Their are lots of those on this forum.

  Hello Crolson, it is so nice to meet you. You have an awful lot of questions. You say you are a student studying JW what exactly do you mean, studying with them or about them? If you are studying about them then may I be so rude as to ask in what capacity? You will find many different answers to some of the things you ask, as one`s on here have varying opinions. What you will find though is a group of people who unlike the average JW allows others the right to their opinions, a group who are able to agree to dis-agree with out judging others as bad/fit for destruction, again unlike the JW`s. Please stay & I hope you will find it an education. SABIN.

  i`ve been thinking, a thread was put up about a month ago asking the question " why me?

  basically why some of us find out ttatt while others are so blinded, good, sincere people that we love.

  well after some consideration i have come to the conclusion that 1) some are in the truth 2) others want truth.

  I`ve been thinking, a thread was put up about a month ago asking the question " Why me? basically why some of us find out TTATT while others are so blinded, good, sincere people that we love. Well after some consideration I have come to the conclusion that 1) some are IN the truth 2) others WANT truth. There is a big difference between the two, it`s the 2nd group that seem to wake up because they are not so inclined to just blindly ignore what is going on when they see very clearly something is a miss. They are aware that lies are being told & move to investigate, thus learning TTATT.

  What do you think? could this be so in your case?

  All It Takes Is ONE!

  ive been reading all these posts about bethelites and special pioneers being kicked out in the street and being forced to get a job to provide for themselves..

  and im trying to put myself in their situation and feel the emotions that must be going through their mind.

  what if my wife and i both dropped out of school to pioneer and got married at 18. and what if we were very faithful in listening to everything the organization says.

  Oh oppostate you are right, I remember in 1 of the books it said they will be adopted as children only at the end of the 1000 years when they attain perfection (worship book I think) well that has to be wrong cause the anointed are imperfect while on earth as well so they cant be considered God`s children either, that would just be hypocritical. So I`ve decided it`s what I believe.
