was df a number of years ago and has quite a story to tell that borders on the unbelieveable ,but true .
richard has held bible conferences in soap lake for many years now, called and told me that a former jw ,a playright showed interest in his story while attending one of his conferences in soap lake.. the playright harold james called richard an invited him and his wife to the play as above ,exspenses paid plus a get together after the play .. richard also mentioned that barbara anderson along with 4 texas attorneys will also be in attendance at the play .although richard is diabetic and hard to understand because of a number of recent strokes he presses on and is in the process of arrangeing a conference in detroit city wa.on may /04 re a debate between greg stafford and dr. robert morey on the trinity and expects an attendance of about 1500 .. in conclusion hats off to richard the lionheart take care all don .

This brings tears to my eyes. I only met Richard on one occasion. It was at a BRCI conference in Chicago. I gave a presentation on stress management. Richard was up front taping the whole thing. Several years later, I went to a BRCI conference in Orlando, and several people commented on the video tape that brother Rawe had recorded on my behalf.

anyone had the shakes before?
by morty inwell it has been 3.5 days since i had a smoke...i know your probably sick of hearing about it but, i really depend on your support here.. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((fourm))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))).
there has to be people here that have quit.did you have the shakes just from quiting smoking?
i have had some real long days and nights.. i have drank water, walked a million miles,chewed gum and even took up knitting to keep my hands busy but cant get over how much i am.

I smoke, and occasionally, I will not smoke for a few days. I don't get the shakes at all. In fact, I become very tranquil. It is a very unusual feeling.

Are You Surprised By How Few Witnesses Have Called You???
by minimus ini've had a few people just recently call or try to visit with me and let me know that we are "missed".
but in reality, the phone hardly ever rings with a witnesses calling on the other end to see how we are.
after spending a lifetime in the organization, it would seem that this couldn't happen......but, i'm glad i'm not getting harrassed either.......did you get calls and visits from those that "missed" you??

While I am very opposed to the religion, I must say, that on this issue they are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Some receive few or no inquiries. Some received too many. So, what is the right number of calls that should be received?

by shotgun ini've learned a ton on this forum and elsewhere which pretty much disproves noah's global flood to me personally?.
long before this as a dub though one thing always bothered me about the account and how unreasonable it seemed even if you discount the animals.. .
noah had three sons in 600 yrs (noah got it even less than me), his sons did not have any children before the flood.

Heathen, I live over one state from Little Witch. In Ohio, there are geological phenomena called glaceral grooves. The can be found on Kelley's Island in Lake Erie. Have you ever seen them? I have. They are grooves that are about 50 yards long, over ten feet deep and about 20 feet across. The explaination for them is that the rocks embedded in the glaciers cut these groove, much like a lath cuts metal. For the life of my, I don't see how a flood could make this king of imprint on solid rock. Perhaps, you have an explaination.

I think some of it is genetic. I have three adult children. I would rate two of them as average in happiness, and one as very happy. My happy one, was happy from the day she was born. When she was little, my wife referred to her as "miss sunshine". When my wife was down in the dumps, my daughter's demeanor would cheer up my wife. As an adult, my daughter has had as many problems as her two siblings, but her problems do not dampen her spirit. I have also met people who are depressed, even though their life is going relatively well. In my own case, I would rate myself as slightly above average, happiness wise. I don't worry about God, the after life or why there is nastiness in this world. After all, the carnivors eat the prey in the animal world, so why should we expect any more from the human race. People are animals, after all.

i was raised in it and would like to explain what it was like compared to today.
first of all, back in the mid to late 40's the patriotism of the u.s. was very high and the treatment at the door was very harsh.

Gary, I just sent you an e-mail regarding Rutherford's mistress. It is circumstantial evidence, but very strong. Obviously, I did not catch them in bed and take a photograph. I was only two at the time of Rutherford's death. Nonetheless, I find the evidence to be compelling. For many years, I did not share this information with anyone. This woman was a member of my family.
