i've thought about the medical transcripts, but don't know who to contact.
I know one lady that is doing medical transcripts from home and is doing pretty well with it. She works for a local doctor. Another lady has signed up to do medical billing. She took the course, paid her money and has been able to find some work. She's not making much at this point in time, but she says it's too soon to call it a scam.
Not easy to find something homebased that works. We raise and sell quarter horses. It's not worth it, trust me

Ashi I'm glad you got to spend those last days with him. That has to be somewhat of a comfort. I was with both of my parents the last days before they died. That has helped me along with the fact that our parting words were exactly the same.. I love you.
Who knows what mysteries are ahead of us, but regardless of beliefs, I'm certain that it is an improvement.

has anyone had any interfaith relationship with a jw that actually worked?
or are they all doomed from day one?
I do know one couple that seems to be doing ok. She signed on during the marriage and KNOWS her husband will never become a witness so she doesn't bother. She also gets upset with any car groups that stop by to visit him as it will only get hubby worked up. I'm not saying they have the perfect relationship, but it's about as close to a interfaith relationship working as I've found.
She is also considered "weak" among the "friends" and the topic of chatty back biting cargroups much too often.

i would like to attend a meeting at the kh down the road with my boyfriend as he has never had any dealngs with the dubs and is intereted as to what they do so thought it an idea to take him to a meeting... now my questions are these... what should we wear?

although we've been inactive for a couple of years now this is the first christmas we've celebrated.
while we know we may get dfed for putting one up we really don't care.. today while decorating the tree my wife is the happiest i've seen her in years.
she's singing downstairs and you just can't wipe that grin off her face.
We did leave the lights on all night. It was very cheerful and we'll leave them on all day today too. The heck with the power bill. We put 900 lights on it so the only fear is airplanes landing. Next year we are going to push the envelope and put lights on the outside of the house.
Like ARoarer we too have been treated as though we are DFed for a long time. Honestly we don't get that at all. Neither of us have made "apostate" statements in the community. But that only makes it easier to leave. After all what more can they do to us if we're being shunned anyway.

I believe back in 95 the decided that a "generation" doesn't have to mean people actually alive in 1914. It can include people born well after 1914. So they've covered themselves.

Well ISP with that Givens/Tyson analogy I think it reflects back on my opinion. She wasn't a big name in hollywood at that point in time and marrying a complete braindead boxer only proves she was interested in money. Getting some of his money (she did) and making a big name for herself.
