Being active is what I enjoy. I enjoy coaching, scuba diving, cycling and friends. I enjoy pleasing myself after a lifetime to trying to please others. With age has come some selfishness.

HILARIOUS!!!
by josephus ini just wanted to tell you all how things are going in my old hall.. last thursday there was a part on the platform about the creation book.
they dragged up two brothers to chat about it, one of whom studied the book and became a witness.. everything was great, right up to the point when the one who studied the book said how glad he was he read it, because "since all darkies look like monkies" he used to beleive in evolution!
this was received with silence, especially by the black bros and sisters in the hall.. its good to see people putting on the new personality isnt it ?.

Changed for life certainly but I'm doing very well. Some of the change are very much for the good. Such as my distrust for any organization. That's healthy I think.

How Did You Feel Witnessing For The Last Time?

whenever i have conversed with one of jehovah's witnesses, i feel that they are 100% convinced that the wbts is "right".. on this forum, we have many people who were once one of jehovah's witnesses, but now totally reject it.. how did you feel witnessing to people whilst you no longer believed in it, or knew you were about to leave?.

I stopped witnessing right after I stopped a bible study I was conducting. It was a couple and they asked really good questions. Questions that I didn't have the answers to. I talked to an elder about some answers and he couldn't come with any either. None that make an ounce of sense anyway.
Giving them the old "faith" crap wasn't good enough, especially when the society had screwed up every single prophecy.
