I sat in the middle towards the front. I was kind of anal and when they asked us to move around the hall to sit in different places each week I did. Then I got my ass chewed out for sitting in certain peoples traditional spots. Oh well.

i think evil is a bit over the top dont you, jahs people may be many things but noy quite that i am afraid, how about loving, compasionate, caring and steadfast in their belief of the truth?..
is it any wonder jws are warned and understandably cautious of you when statements like these abound, lets expose them you cry and then wonder why they view sites like this as part of satans body.

i dont mean to put down my cousin but if she and her boyfriend (now husband) have been loyal jws all their lives why is it that he was arrested for cocaine posession, (he was actually trafficking while a jw!!!!
)she got knocked up by him, and then they got married by a judge instead of an elder.
do these sound like jw kids or do they sound like the real jw kids that you dont see on the poster or cover of awake.
I recall back when I was studying with an elder. We got to the part about how clean Jehovah's organization is and how I must feel so safe with my highschool son making new friends in the congregation. I laughed and said Frank, my sons friends at highschool are cleaner than some of the kids he has met at the hall. I told him how several boys and girls went to a concert and many were drunk. Yet his morman buddy up the road never drinks.
Oh Frank sort of dropped his mouth, said how Jehovah is always cleaning up his organization and then wanted names. That was my first of many red flags I ignored.
most witnesses believe that if you leave the "truth" as taught by jehovah's witnesses, you lose your spirituality.
i know some here that do not believe in god.
others are somewhat agnostic.

i mailed out the baptism nullification letter to brooklyn on the 16th of jan. and i did a mass mailout on the 17th of jan. i was waiting until the co's visit to see what would happen.
well, that was the week of feb.17th and here is what has happened.
not one word officially.. the po of the hall i last attended called on the 19th of feb. and left a message on my voice mail.
Yes Mav you have fired an opening round. I'm really curious how it will turn out. I had such thoughts myself early on but eventually filed the DA letter. My wife remaining inactve allows us to keep the lines of coummunication open with my JW son. And of course her being in subjection to me allows us to have such pagan things around the home as a christmas tree.

I like the letter and it would be great if it works. I have a feeling that this letter will be addressed at headquarters. They aren't likely to allow people to walk away for free. That isn't their style.
if my husband and i were to shuffle off this mortal coil anytime soon there would be a fair amount of money to be divided between our witness relatives.

here's what one of the stories was about;.
quite a few women who had planned on dedicating their lives to their country, have come forth to tell the horrors they've encountered while at training at the air force base (in colorado i think).. many women have been raped repeatedly by "superior officers".
Sadly I find the 20/20 story believable and not surprising at all.
