  MY MUMS IS DIEING O F CANCER?

  my mums in hospital in nottingham england she is a current jw and has stomach cancer.she is a lovley mum but has been brain washed not to have the blood so they left the opp to build her up.

  because she would need blood during the opp if she is weak she will die on the opp table.but she has got worse and weaker so now am losing my mum through waiting.she would have had a chance.

  but now it looks like she has 2 weeks of life left.why???

  Mark you might consider speaking to the doctors alone. I'm not sure how things are done in England, but over here in the states many times we can take legal recourse in such matters. Also most doctors will be able to speak to a patient alone, with no elders present. At this time they will be able to offer her treatments where no sign of blood will show up on her medical records.

  Recording and Submitting Time Slips

  submitting monthly time records is one of those requirements that i had always wondered about.

  i mean how much hours and rvs did paul submit and how many magazines and subscriptions did peter record.. i always had difficulty achieving the national average, although i used to go frequently out in service.

  i just could not bring myself to count the time driving to the service arrangements, driving around looking for houses, and driving off publishers afterwards.. this kept me from being appointed an ms from some time.

  TR I'm sure they've never prepared an outline for honesty in reporting. But I've listend to a couple of local needs talks that dealt with that. Seems like donut shop time wasn't to be counted, unless a witness was given in the shop. Sooo, if you left a brochure behind we figured that was good enough.

  My newspaper said the asteroid could take out Texas. Hmmm, not sure that will make people feel any better. Aren't there some fun pagans down there?

  Billygoat and nancy jeanne gave me some sound advice when I was thinking about DAing myself. Again the basic thought is don't allow them to push you into anything. Don't let them affect you. Get yourself into a mindset where it just doesn't matter to you. Many DAed people regret it later, as you've read here.

  the other day, i was walking out of the kh with elder x, and elder x said ..."did you hear about this jehovah's witness website they got... they should shut it down".

  i acted dumb to it and chuckled.

  i said "really...ah yeah... i think i did hear somthing about that...".

  Gil when I was just starting to have sex, I didn't think about love a bit. Now I'm older and just having sex wouldn't be enough. But you don't have to be in some deep deep love either, right? I mean the illusion of love would probably be enough. This girl was very honest about this being nothing more than recreational sex. That may have been a turnoff. All guys want to think we've changed our lovers life forever.

  We're stupid like that, at least I am.

  It's a curious thing about you YoYo. You seem to be drawn to this site. Why is that? Be careful. I used to hang around sites like this when I was an active judgemental witness. But before you knew it, I waded through some silly fluff and discovered that I was more like the "apostates" than I could ever have imagined.

  But I still dont' come close to feeling like an apostate.
