  The Great Watchtower Porn Panic

  some years ago, when the 'voluntary donation' arrangement was announced, the society followed it up with a period of near panic.. they flooded the kingdom ministry, watchtower and circuit assemblies with pleas "reminding" the friends to open up their wallets.. eventually, they calmed down and accepted the situation, especially after coming up with new scams involving "deficits" at assemblies.

  and appeals for property being willed to them.. .

  it is with this background that i note a burst of emphasis about porn.

  coping after being df'd

  i am a total newbie to this forum i was df'd in feb 2005 and ever since then have had problems to varying degrees.

  i sometimes just can't notivate myself at work and feel empty and almost hollow.

  it's as if i've lost something that i will never somehow seem to regain.

  Welcome JapanBoy.

  Well out here in the real world we don't pretend like everything will be fine "one day in Paradise." Many have become disillusioned with the BORG (WBTS) and have suffered real and personal trauma from the resulting chaos.

  Since you are new to the forum, my advice is to READ READ READ. Perhaps someone could post Lady Lee's "The Best Of" ?

  What happened here is truly a shame and i think what became embarassing was trying to hide it.

  no, in context he was referring to the Catholic church moving priests around instead of dealing with it "ecclesiatically."

  The disfellowshipping was done with extreme prejudice. The previous day I spoke to JR, he mentioned that 'action may be taken' to remove the filth from their midst or some such.

  When questioned the next day he did confirm that this happened during a face to face meeting with three elders. Since Cano is in lock up, guess where the elders went? Orange County Jail.

  i called the information dept politely asking if mr brown was still a witness after commiting verbal apostasy during the interview with ldh.. i got transferred to one of their legal staff and he dropped the "f" bomb and hung up!

  i on the other hand was a complete gentleman.. i would call this a golden opportunity to play up what has to be one of the most embarrasing moments for the dub leadership but is actually an important issue that any current dubz should be concerned about.

  what is the actual policy of the org?

  That is entirely possible. I would not have believed the things Mr. Brown said either, except for the TWO phone calls in which I asked him to repeat his position that the JW church is not spirit-directed, and he did.

  Did you know when calling the Watchtower, Witnesses are directed to the "Service Department" and the General Public is directed to the "Media Department?"

  You then spoke to someone of the legal staff about this recorded conversation, and he swore on the phone although he was well aware his conversation was likely being recorded. It seems to me that it is not only Brown that is stretching the truth.

  Peter denied the Christ's existence three times when directly questioned. Are you insinuating that "God's Organization" is better than Peter?

  with two thirds of my sentence complete, i am almost ready for parole.. there was some unbelievable stuff said today - i think there must be some sort of hallucinogenic gas coming through the ac, because no one batted an eyelid over what was said from the platform.. as usual, i will highlight the main talks.. .

  The best part of the JR Bown interview is that people like Minister Amos are calling and identifying themselves as faithful Jehovah's Witnesses and wanting to verify this story that's circulating ONLINE......during the same summer faithful JWs are being told not to research them online.
