ARE AVERAGE JWs DECEPTIVE?
by Amazing ini ask this because on this and other forums that have a large share of former jws, our stated experiences and encounters during and after our jw membership seem to reflect that the wts and its body of believers are most corrupt.
likewise, those never associated who read our posts may get the impression that even visiting a kingdom hall may result in serious negative events.. i believe that it is important to remind everyone that the average jw is a generally good person.
most try to live good lives, act on their beliefs, and promote what they feel is the truth.

Now that you mention it, I always did have a little problem with Elisha and the 42 children!
I couldn't believe a grown man would be so violent towards children, who say true things like, "Go on up, you old baldy."
Is there some deeper explanation I missed? I mean, a prophet of Jehovah, being happy to see 42 children murdered by a she-bear?

by Amazing inhi ldh: i brought this to the top because i felt it warranted some extra attention given that this is a core feature of the watch tower religion.. during my 27 years with the organization, i was openly of the anointed for about 20 years.
i served as an elder and ms, often being involved in aux.
pioneering, circuit parts and district convention support.

It's not a colour issue re "fake" annointed bros in Africa, it's more of a cultural issue. There is a HUGE difference between race and culture.
That must be why there's so many black, hispanic, etc that are from the US, and are annointed!

All good JDubs know only old white people are Christ's true brethren. So believe me, the race thing has always been an issue.
Doesn't it strike you as odd, Prisca, that the same Organization that called "The little 'Africans' meek, and teachable, and naturally subservient," also closely scrutinize them for vestiges of remaining 'false religion?' As many JW over here that are elders that are still holding onto @*#& from their past, like male chauvenism, racism, etc. And the Society needs to scrutinize the 50 or so (guess) Africans that partake?!?!?!?! HELLO!!!!!
Have you ever seen a report that broke down where the Annointed come from and live?[/b] The Society is so good with numbers[/b] why don't they include this statistic in the Yearbook, so we can all see that the Good old US of A is home to pro'lly 90% of Christ's Brethren???

Why, of all the 144,000 annointed, are they mostly from the New York City area, and 'most of the annointed from Africa are fake?' I guess the 'leopard can't change his spots!' Damn black people, thinking they have a right to be annointed!

WHITE
OLD
Either SUPER cranky or SUPER humble
PREFERABLY A MAN, or at least married. (anyone know any single annointed sisters?)Did I miss any of the important ones?

Question about member numbers
by betweenworlds ini was wondering if anyone knew how the jehovah's witnesses stand as far as there numbers go in regards to other *newer* religions such as the mormons, the moonies, the adventists, scientologists, etc?.
i was wondering because this is a point that jw's will use when pointing that they are gods people.
(the fact that their numbers have climbed so quickly in a relatively short period of time, so they must have god's direction, blessing) of course i think this is hooey!
