  so anyway one of the local spanish language congo's sisters is about seven months pregnant.

  that's great except for the fact that she has terminal cancer.

  horrendous, tumorous, huge growths cancer.

  I don't know where you live buddy, but how many hospitals are there in that area? You might also remind your wife that she is to be in SUBJECTION to you. There is nothing she should be keeping from you.

  sad news report the story of janice perez who was a watchtower missionary in south africa and even got caught up in 9/11 when visiting new york she escaped the building collapse only to return to help in the digging.

  a very kind lady with many children and grandchildren.

  while doing some night gardening due to her lupus she was hit by a van that broke free from a tow truck....so again where is god and why do good people die?

  Off to the one day special assembly day - what can I look forward to?

  i never attend any of the congregation meetings but to support my wife, i attend the assemblies and the memorial.

  tomorrow is the one day special assembly day.

  should i be getting excited?

  If you haven't left yet, you could make up a game of Bullshit Bingo.

  Every time you hear a phrase such as:

  :"Theocratic order"

  "Brothers, isn't it good"

  etc, you could mark them off on a board. When you have filled up your board, jump up and holler, "BULLSHIT!"

  Elementary school children should be in bed long before 10:00 PM (which is when they get home from the boasting sessions), and especially if there is a unit test coming.

  My daughter (college sophomore) was asleep by 9. She didn't need so much sleep.

  My young son is asleep by 8.

  Sometimes earlier, depending on when he gets home from football.

  I remember having to stay even later if there was a Smellder's meeting.

  Flat Stanley

  guys my little one is doing a "flat stanley" project..... if you've never read the kids book, it's about a boy who has been flattened by a falling bulleting board.

  written in the 60's.

  the best part about being flat, is, you can mail yourself to your friends in an envelope.

  Each of the kids made a Flat Self, and my son's is ready to embark on a journey.
  
  The goal is to see whose Flat Self travels the farthest..... and I'm sure my son's will win because of all of YOU guys!!!!! All over the world.
  
  
  If you can accomodate receiving Flat Self, and writing a little note and perhaps sticking a pin or postcard in the envelope with Flat Self, and then returning it to me (so I can start the process all over again!!!!) that would be great.
  
  You could even photograph yourself with Flat Self, Bisous perhaps sipping coffee at a French Cafe! and mail Flat Self and a picture back to me.
  
  I don't want to impose, but if you would not mind helping, send me a confidential address via PM and I'll put a list together.
  
  Theoretically Flat Stanley goes from one helper to the next, but I think to protect people's privacy I will have him come home to Fresno each time and I will re-mail him. I will send a couple of bucks to offset any expense you might bear in returning him home to us.

  Confused a little

  my heads getting a little messed up lately.my lifes moved on a lot since i attended my short return and last meeting on 1.1.2008.. my jobs going extremly well.and recently got into a good relationship thats getting deep.and i mean deeeeep.especially today and i wont go into much detail here.. so why the hell do i feel like im still making a mistake walking away from the watchtower.i feel like im being sucked back into a world that i cant trust where the people around me are misled and im becoming more and more corrupted.is that just the watchtower mind control affecting me or is this really the way it is.. to spell it out i did something today that would get me disfellowshipped and i feel bad.but why?im not in the watchtower anymore.. oh well, just needed to vent a few things here..

  You've been conditioned to be responsible to MAN for your behavior on this planet.

  Luckily for you, that isn't the truth.

  So now, when you have these feelings, you can ask yourself, is this a NORMAL feeling that someone who has never heard of JWs would have? If the answer is yes, you're doing pretty well.

  If you can self identify issues as abnormal due to JW upbringing, you may need to say some daily affirmations to yourself if you are not interested in therapy.

  i was in walmart shopping when i felt like eyes were staring at me.

  I got shunned in a grocery store by a welfare white trash family. What made it comical was, I had just found out the night before I was to be reinstated that night at the meeting.

  She walks in, looks at me, turns her two kids around and loudly proclaims, "Come on children, we are not even to be mixing in company with such a person!"

  That night at the hall she was in line to give me a hug.

  I turned my back on her.

  i'm searching for a new job.

  i've been searching for a new job for about 3-4 months now.

  the ones that i liked didn't hire me.

  It was then that I remembered that he has been unsupportive for every job that I've ever gotten. If I had listened to him, I'd still be working for that stupid temp agency. He told me not to get free help getting trained in how to job hunt, he told me not to work for the blind manufacturer, and he told me not to work for my current job because the temp agency would eventually find me a good job. I haven't regretted anything SINCE the temp agency.

  JWs are unable to plan for the future. A secure thing 'now' .... vs getting yourself educated for later.....They'll take it every time.
