  New Way of Doing Field Service?

  as i was driving to work this morning, i saw a familiar looking car a few yards ahead of me that kept making stops where people were standing alongside the roadway.. when i drove past the people, i noticed wt and awake!

  in their hands.. well, lo and behold, this jw woman to whom i once referenced in the link below was "placing" literature with them!.

  Great. With all this insight I would think you could tell me when to run out nude & cover myself with birdseed. I personally think it's gonna be sooner. I saw the sparrows & robins chirping together. They were licking their beaks while looking at me. Very unsettling.

  June 15th WT - WT Society Pressures JW Parents to Indoctrinate Children

  in a non-study article in the jw only watchtower is an article titled " should youths get baptized ?

  " the wt society is losing young people in very large numbers - so how else to try stemming the exodus than putting pressure on jw parents to indoctrinate and instill mind control into their children ?

  in one section here in this article it almost sounds like a version of " 20 questions " that the wt society asks parents to determine if their children are making " spiritual progress " as they phrase it.

  Hopefully all our children will realize the lies & wasted time. If the majority of them leave that leaves just our generation in & they, as all others before them will die out. This apostate religion needs to die out with them.

  My Grandma's dying...I found out by way of an impersonal text message.

  yesterday at work i received a text message from my sister that my 91 yr old grandmother is unconscious, her organs are shutting down, and they're just keeping her comfortable.

  she said that they moved her to a group home, and gave me the address.

  i thanked her for letting me know.

  I attended my mother's funeral at the hall I had been an elder at. She was loved by all & the hall was packed. Hundreds attended. People I had known my entire life were there. I was DF'd at the time & brought my new wife. Out of all those people, two had the courage to give me a hug. I was grateful for that.

  Absolutely right. After crying wolf for a century no one could be blamed for not believing their warning. It now has no merit. JC gave specific warnings to a specific generation. The GB uses this tactic as a tool to keep the rank & file in line. A recent WT claimed that the end could come AT ANY TIME !!!!! This, of course, ignores their own timeline of things to occur before the end.

  Haven't gone in 2 yrs. I believe in worshipping in "spirit & truth." As this is neither true or spirit directed, it falls in the "false religion" category. I sincerely believe JC would not appreciate me being associated with such apostates.

  my wife and i are planing a move & fade.

  currently we still go to meetings and do field service (some fake) so as not to raise suspicions.

  psychologically, i have been out for a while, but it has taken her a lot longer, in part because she has more family ties in the borg.

  Having the cards forwarded to a new hall & fading there sounds like the best of a bad situation. Eventually family is going to ask all the usual questions. Be prepared. Mention nagging doubts. Never take a direct approach with family that are entrenched in the organization. Over time, you'll be accepted as "inactive". In the interim, enjoy life.

  i just want to start by expressing gratitude toward all members of this forum.

  i have been reading for the last month or so experiences and information that had not been available to me years ago when i was going through chronic depression and isolation.

  i wish i could be more 'brave' and show some current little jws the way to this forum, but i am afraid of getting them in trouble :p we all know how sites like this are to them.. with that covered, first, a few things about me:.
