  I got backmy sick son,,, just to lose the rest ofmy family

  i am so upset ,,its hard to even write this out...but i know i must.....someof you know of my past...coming from a very difficult marriage with a so--called annointed one.. who made my life and the lives of my 5 children.

  a living hell.....i only have one daughter in the borg...but even tho i am dis associated she still talks to me....i moved to texas to be near my daughter and my grand kids...but now i am being ostrasized for helping my schizophrenic son (24),,who couldnt make it on his own in north dakota...... and my son almost didnt make it to texas as he was thrown off the bus for smoking and abandoned... i went on a mission to find him.....by backtracking and giving out flyers of his picture with my phone ..number on it.

  as it happened someone recognized him and i got him back....safe but not sound..... so now my daughters and their boyfriends have disowned me for taking him in....why i am not really sure....but with everyday mydepression gets worse....i have been hospitalized for attempted suicide many times...and theythink i am making up this shit..... just recently i was hospitalized ,,,for another suicide attempt... i think iwill make the next one stick...my brother killed himself at 38,,, no one knew the horrible secrets in his life and the family didnt want to know......now hes gone...leavingbehind 3 daughters and 2 grand daughters.. do they even know the pain and torments i have endured for soo long being in a cult...my 21 yr old daugher willlnever forgive me for what i did toher... sheis out now... but her sister is still in and i know its tearing her apart....my 24 yr old son is schizophrenic and may never be normal....but i am taking care of him as the rest ofthe family have abandoned him to my care....ha i cant even take care of me...for christs sake... for those of you i met at dallas in may,,,you know me right could i really be capable of being so selfish...so uncaring......i need your prayers and strength to get me thru this now.... there were so many things i couldnt do,, when my kids were being abused... i had to be submissive to that fucking jerk...he hurt me ,,, the borg hurt me....everyone gets hurt..... but this may be the straw that broke the camels back....words can and do hurt ,,, i can only say sorry to them so much.....but their dad willnever do that..he willnever make there hurt go away..... i just need ed to be heard as my daughters do not want me to talk to them....and it is breaking my heart in two so imust get my book done..before i am gone for good.....shalom my dear friends

  First, you have to begin by understanding that you have no power to change one thing about the past. The only control you have is what you do right now. Secondly, please call a suicide hotline and get connected with counseling. Try to find a counselor that understands what it means to have belonged to a cult.

  Once your son is on the correct meds you should see a change in his behavior. As far as your kids acting this way....just understand that they to need help in dealing with their abusive past. You can't help them with this, they have to seek the help they need. If it is ever brought up to you you need to tell them that you did the best you could at the time. You are sorry they experienced what they did, but it was not by your hands. You love them regardless. Take care of yourself first wildfire before others, or you will have nothing left to help yourself with.

  Stepford people They follow blindly without question. Lemmings if you will.

  Now I have to agree with Candi that said not all JW's are like that, and especially the old ones. My grandparents were devout JW's. But they were kind to their neighbors, shared their garden produce with them etc. They never treated the grandchildren that were not JW's any different then the ones that were active. Now my Uncles, cousins etc. are the new JW's that love condemnation, judgment, privilege etc.

  Actually I think they have the look of "constipation ." When they see me they have pursed their lips together and slant their eyes. I have always wanted to ask if they have had a BM lately.

  Kristi may not make it through surgery.

  i just got the news a little while ago.

  kristi, the ms patient i've been taking care of went to the er this morning with a perforated colon and peritonitis....her bp was waaaay down and the docs have her in surgery right now, but they've told her parents it doesn't look good for kristi to make it thru this.. i was with her yesterday.

  she had started the morning throwing up and her mom was there because kristi was impacted and she was trying to remedy the situation.

  My prayer and thoughts are with Kristi and Brian. I sure hope this will be a turning point for the positive for her family.

  And by the way Frannie what a wonderful, thoughtful friend you are. Not to many like you out there. I am sure that Kristi and Brian really appreciate the kind of person that you are.

  Already it starts.

  my grandmother hasn't even been put to rest yet and already, my mother starts with "you know that grandma's greatest wish was for you to get reinstated.".

  then, one of my siblings tells me that another of my siblings not only said she wouldn't come to grandma's memorial if i went but also that sibling who called me should not still be talking to me; even though i called her to tell her that grandma died.. i am facing the fact that my family may not even give me details of the memorial directly because they won't want me to go.

  i don't know if i want to go to another funeral that is really just a commercial for the wts instead of talking about the person who is gone at all.

  I am so sorry for you. JW's really know no boundaries.

  When my grandfather passed away a few years back right during the "talk" the elder said that he knew my grandfather would want his family that had left the truth to come back. Everyone in the KH turned and looked at me. I thought to myself ...hey buddy you don't even know my grandfather. It upset my brother so badly that these so called Christian people were so rude to me that he know sees they are a cult. So I think good came from it.

  My family also had my grandfather cremated, but they then placed his remains on my families property so that I could not even pay any respects at all. Planted him right under an apple tree. Not only is it illegal to do so they believe that way they still have control over me so that I can not even get near him in death.

  Give it time...time does heal. I will be thinking of you.

  Elder told me Voting was a conscience matter

  speaking with an elder this weekend and the subject of voting came up (we were talking about things changing) and he pointed to the matter of voting.

  he said it was a matter of conscience.

  (previously he and i have had very very in depth discussions on my new take of the wtbts).

  It really makes me ill when you remember the thousands of innocent JW's in Malawi that lost their lives because they were told they could not buy a 25 cent political card. How in the world do they live with their conscience. It really makes me want to hurl.

  help please

  i cheated on my wife and i told her what happend and she forgave me......but she told my sister #1(baptized but doesn't go to meetings) what happend.

  then sister #1 proceeded to tell sister #2 (die hard witness).

  now sis #2 is giving me till wed to turn myself in or she is going to do it.

  Your's and my lives are kinda similar. Your story should be told to all those 18, 19 20 yr old JW's who get married because of sex etc. I also was very young when I married my older JW husband. He is still an elder in the congregatin although he was only sober for a few days in all the years I was married to him.

  I do not agree that you should stay in a marriage because you feel obligated, or that their are children. I stayed way to long. Only left after I realized I did not want my girls to grow up in this cult. I also commited adultry just to get out of the marriage. I at the time knew no other way. Now if I was not happy with my husband I would simply talk about and seek help before it is to late. Unfortunately with the JW religion that is no always an option. Be true to yourself and your wife.

  When your mother-in-law said you needed to marry just because no one would want her is simply just a ploy. Your wife deserves to be happy just like you do. If you are not that person for her then you need to release her so that she can find that person. It does sound like to me that she loves you or she would not have forgiven you to begin with. Act as mature as you can in this situation. If you do decide that you need to get out encourage your wife to get help OUTSIDE this religion. She will need it in order to keep going under this stress.

  JWs Proselytizing on University Campus!!!

  imagine my horror as i walked out of my french class this morning to see someone setting up a table, covered in lovely royal blue felt, with two tiers of watchtower literature attractively displayed.

  imagine my chagrin when i realized who the "sister" was who was going to sit outdoors and chat up passersby: my former congregation's po's wife!.

  i am not sure what university policy is in general as regards proselytizing on campus (but i intend to find out).

  I also as a young girl in the late 70's would go to our local university to find those "whose heart was complete for Jeh" Had some great convesations. Mostly the girls would look at me and say "why in the world do you come here all dressed up?" Don't you think this religion demeans women? Hmmmm 20 years later that is the exact reason why I left!!!! As one person said, smart kids.

  i am considered evil by an entire religious organization that compares me to the biblical ?dog that has returned to its vomit?.
