This is elementary math, infinity is simply so long that a couple hundred years won't even matter to anyone who is living forever. So possibly the resurection will actually be done by having the people reborn into a new body as a baby and growing up again, kind of like the way Jesus did it when he came to the earth. How about those apples?

some of you do not even believe in a creator.
but those of you apostates that still do believe in a resurrection back to life, you would no doubt agree that not everyone of those who are resurrected will come back to life all at once.

by Curyus inhi i've tried several times to post my not so now i'm going shorten it to i beleave that people go to the hall w/good intentions & strong beliefs which i have no problem with that in itself but i cant measured what 1 indivudual should or should not be doing.
i don't think that these same people would show up to evrery 5 meeting every week if they thought it was all a crock.
anyway, we must be careful beause what's good for the gander is not neccessarily good for the ganer.

"Good intentions and strong beliefs", isn't that what the road to destruction is paved with? Those count for little if you are using them to hurt others openly. The shunning practice and the blood issue are killing people, does that not count for anything?

Black Balled

i got a phone call tonight and they told me that the dent shops in denver, tulsa, amarillo, dont want me.

The purpose of being a Witness?

i was always told it was to be a witness of jehovah, meaning you stood up for and defended your faith, your beliefs.
i realize that this is a hard thing for some to do, it takes bravery, knowledge, faith and a convection that what you believe is right.

The purpose is to be filled with the "vision of granduer" that you are going to live forever, you are invincible, you will never die. This vision allows you to do almost anything to anyone with perfect justification. You live in the bubble and all you see is the bubble. Those outside the bubble are dangerous, especially if they carry pins, because pins can pop the bubble, so bubble poppers must be kept at a distance. If you are a bubble popper then you pose a threat to the vision and so are a danger to the kids, don't you get it?
It is a fragile existence, the JW bubble, and relies on media control and constant pretending, as well as constant fear.

on the other hand, i have a jw cousin who i hope never to talk to again.
i have only seen her once in 30 years and that was at my sister's daugher's wedding.

As an EX-JW I used to find myself shunning people at the drop of a hat. Someone pissed me off and bam, I just shuned them. It seems like a quick and easy way to deal with people and I certainly felt justified. You never have to face yourself when you do this. I have later come to realize that cutting people off that way is really stupid, just a left over bunch of crap I learned from them and I can't seem to shake. It is far more intelligent to remain opened to EVERYONE and let them do the cutting off if that is thier choice, even giving smiles and hello's to those who try to be rude. It's way more fun to watch what happens when you are nice to those who you have a right to be nasty too and sometimes you can get a good surprise, they actually respond. So many bad feelings come from simple misunderstandings, and to cut someone off totally because you didn't understand where they were comming from really closes a lot of doors and opertunities. These left over feelings, that I am justified in judging others and I already know more then them so I do not need to listen to thier side, are a constant battle. I think that there is never a good enough reason to shun anyone, so I have tried to stop doing it.

The fear for a JW is the fear that it might not be true. If it is not true then they have wasted much of thier life following a lie and this is a very painfull realization. Most will argue fervently without any good proof to support it, in a rather heated way, that the JW's are the true Religion, the one and only.
So this scripture really does not set them free, it merely frightens them into defending the faith much more fervently so they can maintain thier illusion.

most ruddy irksome it is from a guys point of view i can tell ee.
here we are, quite happy in our own right, say something to this here balmpot, and wowwwwww irritable utterances just tumble forth with such degrees of unreasonableness tis almost funny to observe, but dare i laugh in their presence whilst she be in this most unpredictable of states?

Just kidding...all women are unique individuals and deserve unique treatment. When they cry, hug em, if they push you away, leave for awhile. A man must forgive all, and a woman will never forgive anything, there is no balance, if you want fair, find a good guy friend. If you want romance, don't live with her, just date.
Well now mister libra isn't doin so good with women lately, so don't listen to him anyway.

Describe your emotions with respect to Dolphins???
by Celtic indolphins, beautiful creatures, have you ever seen one, swam with them or tried communicating with them?
what relationship do you have or ideally would like to have with dolphins?
plus if dolphins could communicate with us quite freely, what do you think they might have to say?

Dolphins and porpoise are really neat. I have had them swim right along at the bow of my boat, they keep up at 11 knots. You gaze down through the water at them and they tilt thier heads and gaze back up at you. It is awesome to see them in thier enviornment.
However they are wild animals, despite the depiction of hollywood and miss informed enviornmentalists. They are not all trained performers like at sea world. They are a player in the food chain, they do eat other fish, they are not veggie heads. I think if they evolve some arms, legs, and hands in about a million years they will be able to compete with man. Untill that happens, I shall just sit back and enjoy thier company on that rare occation when I encounter them in the wild.
There has been a lot of work claiming that they use telepathy particularly in healing and soothing the injured and sick. And even a few people out there claiming they have great psychic powers and are in communication with off world aliens already.........who knows.
Thier sonar is amazing, who knows the depth of thier perception. Sound penetrates all objects differently allowing a dolphin to actually see inside something in the water. So maybe they are really perceptive creatures, however it seems like if they were so smart and if they really had a launguage we would be talking to them by now, rather then still training them like dogs. Dogs are pretty smart too, and a whole lot more fun to pet....LOL!
