i have to say that i've been astounded at the response (in a positive way!)..

I hardly prayed at all since stopping the service to the Borg.. but why not ?
BB, it doesn't have to be an actual prayer. You could do as some of the others here including myself, who visualize Ian's tumors shrinking. Myself (don't laugh. I got this idea from a true story I read once about a lady who did this and her tumors went away), I visualize little pac men eating away Ian's tumors. Heck, I figure if it worked for her, it can't hurt.

I know personally I have a hard time on that particular day because 5pm is the time I have to leave to take my daughter to hula.
Princess, I know what you mean. I'm still busy at that time of day also. It's 8pm here on the east coast when this takes place. So, I wouldn't mind if it's as late as 10 or 11 pm since I never go to bed until 11 anyway. That would make it 7 or 8 pm where you live.
If the others here don't mind. Maybe we could make it later in the evening? Or, we could hold two each Tuesday. That way those in the UK would still be awake and that way, we here in the US could either choose to do this at the same time as those in the UK or both times which would be even better.
well, i had my most embarressing moment in my life so far this last friday night.. after having a talk with the boss about morale, i had arranged a bowling night for work.
i arranged for us all to have 2 games of ten pin bowling, plus food for 9.99 each.
we got a bottle of champagne and 10 behind the bar aswell .
LOL snap, I laughed so hard at that that my son had to come see what was so funny. It made him laugh too.

Americans find that strange? The first time I heard of beans for breakfast was in an American restaurant.
I think it depends on what part of the US you live in. For example, up in MN they don't eat grits but it's a staple for breakfast down in the south.

Beans beans, good for your heart. The more you eat, the more you fart.
Fortunately for me, they don't affect me that way.
And yes, i've eaten beans for breakfast before.

I like Jay Leno better than Conan, but if I had a choice. Instead of Conan replacing Leno. I wish they'd bring back Arsenio Hall. He was better IMHO.
yep, i have to confess it - mrs ozzie and i selected a merlot for our meal at a thai restaurant last night.
it seemed the appropriate thing with temperatures rising downunder and the thai cuisine - well, i thought it would enhance the tastes of the meal!.
so, what did i select in replacement of our beloved shiraz?
I'm all about the semi-sweet wines.
Then try Duplins muscadine wine. It's sweet and Muscadine grapes are good for your heart. At least that's what my sister said her Dr told her.
this was in today's paper and i thought some might be interested in contributing to sara's fund.
it is a great loss for a child to lose a dad.
my heart goes out to the family.
How about establishing a college fund for the Iraqi children whose parents were mutilated and slaughtered by American troops during the invasion of their sovereign nation? What's that I hear? Boos and hisses? Oh well, it was just an idea. And, as we all know, it is only Christian, American blood that matters for Americans anyhow.
If there is a link to a site that would allow such donations, I will gladly donate to such a fund. It isn't fair of you to suggest otherwise.
