I forgot the most important part. When you cook the potatoes, don't cut or peel them untill after they are done and have cooled. This keeps it from becoming mashed potatoe salad from stiring in the ingredients.

I don't use a recipe for mine either. I just add a little of this and a little of that.Mine consist of:
Potatoes
Miracle whip
mustard (just a tsp or so)
sweet pickle resish ( a couple tbls)
Onion
a smidgen of milk
and about a tbls of sugar
I also add a couple of diced up eggs
Edited to add: Oops, I forgot, salt and pepper to taste.

At first I thought I was going to lose my mind but I have adjusted.
I remember that feeling. I would find out something new and then would always be wondering if it were really true. my mind was working overtime. I'd always be telling myself, what if this new information I am finding out is really wrong? That feeling went on for about a year or more. I'm glad I finally got over it because it was driving me nuts!

Was there any type of wax on the egg? We used wax to make Ukrainian eggs as kids. We'd draw a design with wax on the egg where we didn't want it to take the dye. Maybe something was on the egg in that shape that wouldn't allow it to take the dye?

Did you get a look at her eyes? Freaky. You know, it doesn't surprise me. She is Baptist. In my experience they are some of the most judgemental people I know. When I was a little girl my mom dated a black man. We would get all kinds of prank phone calls about it and I answered one time and the man on the other end used such foul language with me, an eight year old at the time. Cursing and calling my mom a nigger lover. My mom crabbed the phone and had a few things to say to this man and she recognised the voice as one of the Decons from the local Baptist church. When I was fifteen, I joined that Church and while in it found out that many of the Decons were members of the KKK. I left after I found that out.
One of my neighbors once mentioned that she moved here from Hagerstown MD and also that she was a Baptist and invited me to her Church. I went with her one time. Well anyway. I soon found myself doing some work for this man and his wife who were also from Hagerstown, MD. When I saw this woman again, I mentioned to her that I met another couple from the same town she is from and that I did some work for them. She asked a bunch of questions about them and it came up that they were a black couple. Her attitude changed real quick. She asked me if they paid me cash for my work. I said no, they gave me a check. She had the nerve to tell me I had better be carefull because the check might bounce. I actually rolled my eyes and told her, "P****, just because they are black doesn't mean they write bad checks. I also told her that she can't be much of a Christian that she claims to be if she is rasist and reminded her of the verse about all being accepted who put faith in him.
These days I tend to stay as far away from Christians as I can. Most of them are just to hypocritical and judgemental for me.
Sorry for the long post, it's just that this lady set me off.

What is the quickest time frame that a Reinstated JW's got DF'd again?
by booker-t inmy co worker tammy(not her real name) was disfellowshipped twice once in 2002 and again in 2005. she was reinstated for a second time in jan 2006 but i recently found out from her that she is having an "affair" with a non jw's man at our job.
tammy wants to go to the elders but she is afraid that they will df'd her for the 3rd time.
i been talking to her telling her not to go to the elders but she keeps telling me that she feels so guilty and that she does not want to get destroyed by jehovah at armaggeddon.

She may not be df'd this time if she gives up the affair and tells the Elders that no one knows about it. That's what happened to me anyway. I had only been reinstated about 6 months and ended up back with the same guy I was df'd over. This last time they put me on private reproof.
