red or white,domestic or imported,a good wine can really accent a fine meal.one of my favorite red wine`s is a bordeaux from france,b&g 1725.inspired by the barton&guestier tradition which dates back to 1725 in boudeaux,fondation 1725 is a dry fruity wine with a deep garnet colour and rich,lasting aromas.merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes confer strong flavours of black currant,violet and spices.it is excellent with red meats,poultry and cheeses.i also like to use it for deglazing when making gravies or sauces.enjoy!!

Chardonnay, or White zinfandel. I never could stand the taste of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon. Chablis*(sp) is also good. There is also a cheap wine made of scuppernong grapes that taste great.

some of you know me now and i just thought you might like to know how i got to know jehovahs witnesses and whats an sda bloke doing on a jw board.
well it all started in the mid 80s when i got to be friends with a jw bloke who was working bricklaying for my dad invited me to the memorial.
i said i would go but i felt i would be happier going with someone else that i knew better to go with me there as i didnt quite know what to expect there.

having grown up in a jw household, celebrating holidays was always a problem.
my mother is catholic, so we tried to celebrate, but somehow the jws always had something bad to say, or they went to another part of the house.
a christmas tree was a symbol of satan.
I have fond memories of Christmas as a child. Our family is scattered all over the USA and the holidays were the only time we got together as a family. It would have cost a fortune to do this all through out the year.
Christmas Eve was the best. We sat down for dinner of oyster stew. We would all talk about the things happening in our lives. I remember lots of laughter. We had a close family.
Grandfather would then call us all into the living room where he would read us the story of Christ's birth. He told the story so well. The we opened the gifts.
Christmas Day, we ate promptly at 1pm and again the conversation always ended with laughter. I remember my grandmother had a way with telling jokes. She always had us in stitches.
This year will not be as years past. My grandparents with whom we celebrated have long past on. My mother who took over the custom has moved back to the town of my youth. Fond memories are all I have left.
What I am trying to say is.....................Christmas is a time for families, and if your family is scattered as mine was, there is no better time to come together. Create memories that will last a lifetime. For one day that may be all you have.

so very innocent!.
come my eventual departure from dubdom, i resolved to see all these bad people playing their music live.
Nyt, what? You don't like county music? I have to admit my favorite is soft rock, but I was given free tickets and I sure wasn't going to waste them. I like the Judds.

Of these three, the Judds were my favorite. I just love their song, Grandpa, reminds me of my own grandfather. I was forth row center and even got to shake Wy's hand and say hello's.

my life with the jws has been one hardship after another.
i am sharing this to help others see that jws claim to be loving and forgiving people while they are not.
