  i just spoke to a witness friend (has been a witness 25+ years), who said that the elders in her congregation told her that witnesses had better be prepared to begin going door to door, not to announce "good news", but to denounce people who refuse to accept "the trvth".

  has anyone else heard about this?

  i thought it was a joke at first, but she said no, that's where the elders told her things were headed.

  Curious to see if this is for real. I just got out (I've been "shun-ified", LOL!). So I'll be on the receiving end of death and destruction tirades if it really happens they're told to do this.

  physics deals with our sensory proofs of actual things (hearing, seeing, smelling, touching, tasting).

  I think I'm more amazed by the fact that it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it was real. One of the many reasons I got out. The scare tactics got to be a bit much, even for me.

  I couldn't even respond to her saying that, I was so amazed by it. Not that I think they aren't already becoming prophets of doom (if you've seen some of their published offerings to householders, you know how scary some of the stuff is). But now they are going to outright freak people out in order to get converts. I was just, WOW... I don't even know what to say.

Has anyone else heard about this? I thought it was a joke at first, but she said no, that's where the elders told her things were headed. They said that was soon to be the new message the Witnesses are supposed to deliver. How soon she couldn't say. They just told her to be ready for it, and that Witnesses would have to determine for themselves if they were prepared to deliver it.
