My wife has just got back, and is stomping around in the kitchen.
I guess it didn't please her that I missed the first one in my life.
But I would have partaken, and embarrased her, so...
Alledgedly they had a peak, this year. 14 more than their previous high (but they've had that many move in, just a couple of months back).
I'm only glad that I didn't contibute to it.

there is a passage in scripture that has always bothered me.. it is in revelation 20, where satan is loosed after the 1000 years and misleads masses of perfect people yet again, into warring against god.. these are perfect people, not misled in regard of facts, how could the vast majority of them be misled, again?.
after a reading of rev 20, ive decided the dubs interpretation is flat out.
wrong.. from the dubs own bible verse 3 says that "satan cannot mislead the nations anymore until after the 1000 years".. so those nations must be there, after the millenium.. verse4: .

The word "again" used in Rev.20:5 is Anazao, and is also found in Romans 14:9 with regards to Christ resurrection.

just throwing it out there for your thoughts.. the "lords evening meal" is always celebrated on the day that corresponds to nissan 14. my parents are still jw's and (as ya'll know) the memorial service is the "most important meeting of the year" - they literally cry if i don't go.
so i'm thinking - i'll show my mother and father honor by going - i can fake it through one meeting right?!

my wife is a "closet alcoholic".
i found out a month ago that she was lying to me since the day we met, almost 7 years ago.
Alcoholism is rife in Scotland, so we tend to get information on it thrust down our throats, all the time (like a current TV ad campaign).
The first step is admitting there is a problem.
Then each day is a new step - one day at a time.
I'd follow Ozzie's advice and get AA involved. They have a lot of experience in this.
