my dirty fantasies
by varian inwhen i was a single jw, well, lets say around about my early 20ies, i used to to let my mind flow a bit during the kh meetings.. welll, anyway, i used to observe some of the "older" sisters around their late 30ies or 40ies in their stockings and high heels.
it really turned me on, i must admit.
i couldn t concentrate much of the programme due to this.

Hi
I'm from Toronto and now live in a suburb about a half hour north. Toronto weather is not that bad and has a nice variety of work- Markham is home to many big tech companies, we have a huge financial sector, automotive and services.
While taxes are higher, you get some pretty nice services, and everyone gets them, schools and libraries are good, not to many toll roads. Nice mix of people, Toronto has a big gay community, caribbean, italian, chinese... you could eat at a different type of restaurant everyday of the week. When I worked in automotive the Japanese people always loved to get sent here because they could get a such variety or authentic foods, some had been in Alabama and they complained that everything was deep fried, you could easily eat at 20 greek restaurants all within walking distance of one another.
An interesting note is that Windsor Ontario is actually south of Detroit and enjoys some pretty nice weather, being south of parts of California.
Canandians are different than Americans, it's subtle, and it may take a while to appreciate. Good luck, and as someone else mentioned, it's about a 7 day drive end to end, and most of us live in the most southern area, so it's hard to describe, with any justice, the whole thing in a few sentences.

J-Dub Gossip: How Do/Did You Handle It?
by DarioKehl inperhaps the biggest fear i have of leaving is the ensuing gossip that will follow.
i know it's stupid to worry about what will be said about me once i'm "out," but it kills me inside.
of course, that doesn't mean that i don't already deal with my fair share of gossip as it is while still "in.

I would give it to him straight, something along the lines of I think the whole thing is a sham and I don't want anything to do with anyone still involved, all the best and don't come back. I would not bother arguing, just leave it at that, if he wants to discuss it, tell him there is nothing to talk about, get lost. Of course that is just my thoughts, I don't know you or him or your situation, but I would not waste another minute with those people, they've taken enough of my time.

Experience re: Faking Field service time
by pirata innoticed this experience while doing some research.
thought you might enjoy it:.

Sort of like when asked how much one drinks- divide in half, and field service? at least double it. It would be interesting to get a sample of a hundred x pioneers and find the margin of bullshit and use that figure to determine the actual. It is amazing to think of how much of a tool I was running around preaching about something I didn't even believe in.

Since I only went to about 2 or 3 it was not completely terrible, but I'm sure for the people who have been going their whole lives it must be hell. I sort of enjoyed hearing the gossip and seeing some different people, the novelty was over pretty fast though.

It is such a pile of dung. I can't believe I used to look forward to the new edition and underline the answers- man I'm ashamed of myself.
As soon as I learn a group thinks they are god's one and only I know they are fucked beyond reason, JW's, Mormons, or any mainstream group, selfish, ego, wacko, as a matter of fact all the real screwed up groups believe this, branch davidians, jim jones types, by their fruit you will know them or by the idea that they are the chosen ones I know to stay clear.
