he is a fascinating, intelligent person and has an intimate knowledge of the destructiveness the watchtower society has wreaked upon people's lives due to shunning, the blood ban, etc.. some two years in the making, this full-length documentary film entitled "truth be told" seeks to expose the watchtower for what it is.
a debut screening for the public will take place in brooklyn new york on march 27, 2013. other major cities will follow.

Gregorio talks candidly about many aspects of the film, including distribution, a tentative DVD release date, his background being raised as a Jehovah's Witness, and more.
i am the organizer of the chandler, az ex-jw meetup group.
last year our group organized a "shun run".
nine of us walked and ran to bring attention to the issue of shunning.
Kudos to you Steve2 for admitting this and to Marvin S. for as always being a voice of reason.
I look at these events as small "innoculations" given passerby and the public at large. They will ask tougher questions and think more when the next batch of JWs dubbs pile out of their min-vanand onto their street.

in the last 4 months my eyes have been opened to ttatt, my biggest issue is that the elders have been grooming me to appoint me as an elder.
suavojr they cannot make you do anything you don't want to do...the next most pressing thing is stepping down as an MS. I used health problems as my reason to step down. Depression, stress, panic attacks are also really good reasons to give them if you feel comfortable with that or it applies. They will meet with you after you submit your letter. Reiterate what is in that, then your fade begins...

Lots of energy and good vibrations behind the film...I worked on the edit today, can't tomorrow but am gonna try really hard to finish it over the weekend!

i started having doubts about the org back then and my curiosity overcame my fear of so-called apostate websites so here i am.
i just resigned being an elder 2 weeks ago.

Tap into the wisdom and support here. There are a bunch of us ex-elders and even a few current ones. There are members with spouses and kids that are asleep in the Org and they are, were, or or have tried to liberate them. Some have succeeded,others sadly have not.

I'm pretty excited about this let's hope we can keep the momentum going because these indy projects usually take time and are not built in a day. He's been chipping away at this for the last two years already.
this is just a few things interesting that happened to me yesterday while waiting in the er.. i'm fine other than a minor concussion and being sore from tripping over my cat yesterday and face planting into the corner of the wall.. so anyway i had to wait about 6 hours in the waiting room and while i was there, there were these two hispanic women going around the room asking people if they wanted a "tract" on jesus, they didn't know english all that well and i couldn't really see the cover of the tract or anything, but the one woman who approached me had what looked like a bible.
of course i couldn't see what bible it was.
if i wouldn't have been suffering with a concussion and could think better, i would have inquired on if these women were jw's or not.
Get some rest Sis. Good job on sharing your impressions at the ER...journaling and reflecting everyday on where your life is going and what is happening in it is always great therapy.
