A lot of the Dubbs hand-write the letter bc it takes longer and they can count more time that way...My GF received one of these hand-written letters only a couple months ago and it didn't even contain the Dubb's name or contact info, her name, etc. and was very generic. Who knows how many times this Dubb has written that letter?

i know anyone who believes in evolution is going to say that there is no 'if' about it.
however.... if man evolved over hundreds of thousands of years ago, why were there only about 200-300 million people alive 2,000 years ago?

I think that Tornapart is asking for genuine reasons, and this is a topic that people feel very strongly about on this board. It's good to talk about it in a reasonable way- bravo to those that are doing that.

There's a lot of fake time reports coming in, and a lot of secretaries fudging numbers also prior to CO visit.
And that's not even mentioning the ones that count time writing the same letter over and over, etc.
well the book they use to conduct bible studies is already showing its age, and just like the changes they made to the live forever book they are doing it to the bible teach book as well.

this is stage 3 of a three part project spanning over 30 years since i left watchtower headquarters in 1980 and gave the 18 members of the then-governing body, including president nathan knorr and vice-president frederick w. franz.. the new site will be more blog/news oriented (and updated more often with articles, blogs and videos almost daily).. all of our previous sites, such as armageddonokies.com and watchtowerworld.org, randytv.com, exjws.net, and others will be incorporated into the previous freeminds site, which is currently being revised and converted from its joomla-based format to this wordpress format.
i am sure you will find it much easier to search for words, people, articles, and subject very easy.

so i decided to attend the meeting last.
since i haven't gone in about 2 weeks, and i leave as soon as it ends, and elder decided to corner me at the end.
lately i've been through some very depressing family issues that are non-jw related so i haven't been my best at acting like i care about the org.
This one really really pisses me off...Thanks for sharing. I have known and worked with El-Durs like that in the past when I was one of them and it makes me sick.
If he or others talk to you again, please consider excusing yourself to the bathroom, turning on your cell phone's audio recorder, and then come out and have a long chat with them. We need to expose this mind controlling CRAP, over and over and over again for the world to see.

Thanks Ann for mentioning that. A little known fact is that another brother, the third of the three writers that woke up to TTATT all those years ago (Ray, Ed, and ___) started the book and had done quite a bit when Ed was asked to take over and finish it...
