Does YOUR God do that to people? That is not very nice is it? It is really fair for those who have been misled their entire lives and messed around so much they understandably dont know what to believe?

i find it extremely amusing how each year is passing without armageddon.

"for the year 2000, i visualize a world transformed into a beautiful paradise!

but i don't think that either the present world or its rulers will live to see that day.. we are living in the last days of the system of things.

the society has always argued that the trouble the world is in, is because it is ruled by satan.

then the other day i was reading something odd in the finished mystery: .

"it does not set the mother against her daughter and the father against his son", "one great brotherhood", "it appeals to the best, all that is good within us", "it propagates the principles of self-sacrifice, mercy, charity and benevolence, teaching men to live for the good of others and to be kind to all", "justified by our own deeds".

It does not inspire wars and strife, but peace and security. It does not set the mother against her daughter and the father against his son, but promotes the fraternal spirit whereby the race is regarded as one great Brotherhood. It does not seek to drag down and degrade the natural man, but to improve and uplift him. To use a popular phrase, it appeals to the best, all that is good within us.' ..... It endeavors to make men so satisfied with this life that they shall be totally indifferent to the life hereafter. It propagates the principles of self-sacrifice, mercy, charity and benevolence, teaching men to live for the good of others and to be kind to all.

And what is SO wrong with the above traits? Are they not things that JW's, as self professed teachers of the truth should be doing themselves instead of condemning them?

Did not Christ teach we are all brothers? Did not Christ teach us to love one another? Did not Christ teach us to excercise sacrifice, mercy, charity, to love all, regardless?

With a few quite obvious exceptions, it seems that Satan's system as described above does far more for the advancement of the human race than religion can ever hope of doing.

This is the ultimate in twisting things round to excuse their evil deeds. Calling what is good evil so they can righteously carry on their evil. May God have mercy on them.

Are you still looking for a meaning to life?

i havent bothered thinking much about the deeper issues of life recently but why not start again i thought to my self, and i ask the questions what are we and how did we get here?and i ask these in the biggest sense ie, not how did we get here on earth but how and why did the whole show sart in the first place.. its easy to say the universe just happened , we just evolved and our conscious existance is just a freak of nature.but these answers sweep over the main issues which are far deeper.. i learnt to reject ghosts, gods, angels and supernatural phenomena , but my own existance is more perversely strange to a logical mind than any of these, and yet i do exist.. what the hell is it all about i wonder?

What must I do to be saved?

first of all, i am agnostic.

maybe there's a god, maybe not.

so i wonder, do i actually have to believe in god in order to be saved?

well if you dont believe in God or arent sure - just do good to others. Thats pretty much all thats required of Christians - to love each other and love everyone and anyone. Do our best cos we never can be perfect.

dont forget that many who are saved were not Christians and never knew Christ, but through their actions proved themselves worthy.
