  i know many of you who are regulars here have probably heard this before.

  a dear loved one of mine has started attending the hall.

  i need scriptural ammunition to combat this mind control....specifically on the "little flock" "great crowd" doctrines, the trinity, and jesus.

  I think what Kes152 said makes sense... you need to let her do this for herself. Dont coerce her into anything, you can let her know you disapprove but dont bug her and dont force it onto her. If she rejects it, then its her decision and you need to respect that. I know it will be hard but as Kes said, it will be better for her and for you if you just support her and let her be "happy" in whatever she wants. If you force "apostate" material on her and try and drag her out that will just reinforce the WTS stuff about "apostates" and she will end up moving further away from you.

  Refusing to eat Lucky Charms cereal...

  as i sit here eat my favorite cereal for breakfast, i remember a time when it used to offend me to eat lucky charms.

  .

  anyone else have an experience of things you used to "offend" you??

  i still get guilty about stuff like that.... be it watching Buffy or other ghosty / demony stuff or playing games with them in or whatever, but I never eat lucky charms (couldnt if i wanted to) so they havent affected me. I did before the JW's came along... they just reinforced it and its stuck.

  i resisted it for years.

  i was dragged kicking and screaming into the evolution theory camp.. i would rather have had my arm lopped off at the elbow;but, facts are facts.

  People do tend to forget that evolution is just a Theory and often take it as a proven fact.

  I just dont swallow evolution, neither do I swallow whats in the bible. Both stories have agenda's. Maybe some things are just out of our grasp and we wont know, and these are attempts to describe them.... like many other Theories in science.

  Does religion play a big part in world politics?

  noting that britain?s prime minister and americas?

  president are both supposed to be actively religious i wonder how big apart there religious outlook plays in the decisions they make.

  being non-religious myself i would be keen to see, no influence at all, but the only countries that have put that into practise are the communist ones, and we know what happened there.

  can you tell the difference between real emails and "phishing' emails that are out to get your credit card numbers and personal info?

  i got this link from msnbc and was surprised at how good the crooks can make emails look.. quiz has 10 different emails you click on and choose either legit or fraud... i was shocked ..i think i'm puter savy and i missed one.

  If you ever get emails like that ... DO NOT click the link in the email.

  Instead, open a new browser window, type in the url to the bank / site etc, ie http://www.paypal.com

  Then log in on the proper site and if there is anything you need to do it will tell you there.
