  Iron Eagle, you are unwise to underestimate your enemy. Too many people are writing them off as they dont have technology etc, but they have one thing many westerners dont, a TOTAL lack of compassion for those who are different, ie not muslims. They wont think twice about subjecting people to extreme terror all because they have different beliefs.

  Look at it like this, they have no fear of death, they have no fear of comuppance, they have no conciense and what they do they are told they are doing it in the service of their god. Cowards? not likely, dangerous? Very.

  While I totally disagree with a lot of western ideals, such as capitalism, at least the West has managed to outlaw racism and sexism, and recognise those of different creeds and cultures.

  Mary is correct, they are sheep, misled by evil sheperds and they will do whatever they are told. All this placing too much importance on the hereafter is DANGEROUS. People have real feelings in this life, its just not fair to deny someone their life all because they are different.

  The sooner this evil religious beast is hurled into the firey lake the better.

  Third World War

  it looks like we might really be going to war (they voted against us) iraq is getting an antidote for nerve gas (sounds like they are preparing) i fear that israel will drop a bomb on them.if this happens all hell will break loose.

  does anyone know if they will start drafting?

  If it happens it happens.

  I dont understand why Israel would attack Iraq, they have enough to deal with on their own doorstep without doing that, because by doing that they will bring total destruction upon themselves. However they do have an agenda so it could be possible.

  I remember getting paranoid when the west attacked Iraq the first time, and when they attacked Bosnia or whatever it was they attacked. It blew over. Maybe now there is more chance of retaliation from extremists in the wake of what happened on 9/11 - although im am still not totally convinced this was the sole doing of muslim extremists.

  What really is so much worse now than in past years? Things seem worse cos things are reported quicker with ever improving communications technology, but they have always been as bad as they are now.

  Im starting to think maybe the earth would be best off without the human race anyway.

  the new star trek movie, "nemesis" is premiering on december 13, 2002. i am really looking forward to it.

  although i grew up with the original, i must admit to a certain fondness for the next generation and to captain picard.

  i would appreciate some serious discussion and comments on signs of the last days.

  i've already run a search for previous posts on the subject, and most of what i found was silly, sarcastic, name calling, etc, but nothing of any real value.

  i would really like some information, links even, for some valuable information on the subject.

  How about reading Matthew 24, in its correct context, and noting what it says.

  The most obvious verse is verse 6:

  "You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that you are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet" and it goes on to list more stuff that will happen.

  So its blatantly when there is peace in the earth that the end comes, when people are declaring "Peace and Security". Turn on the news, pretty much all that is described in Matthew 24 is going on, but these are only the pangs of distress..... these do not mean we are in teh last days. How long has there been earthquakes, wars, famines etc?

  as we develop more and more advances in the medical field more people are having their lives saved.. we have vaccines, antibiotics, surgery, and many other procedures that have saved millions of lives.

  mans average life span is increasing.

  all these things are good.. this has also been responsible for the population explosion.

  Unfortunately, Kelsey is correct. War will sort out the population problem, and it is one reason why world war 3 will happen. Its disgusting to think that elite men think they have the right to do this while sitting in their underground bunkers safe from attack.

  bjc, you take your chances following EARTHLING MAN, I will take mine following JAH's and Christ's counsel, to NOT follow earthling man. If I am to be condemned for that, then so be it.

  Seems you operate the "damned if you do, damned if you dont" like so many other people (You Know being one of those, yes you are in the same leauge as him)

  But dont think I will shut up and go away, because as long as I am about and have internet access, you can be assured I will be doing my best to prevent people from making another mistake. Hopefully most people will realise you cant fall for the same lies twice, even if they are repackaged and different labels attached to them.

  So, you are saying I am to go to JAH through MDS, and not to partake of the memorial that Christ commands us to?

  Talk about locking the kingdom of the heavens! You are no better than the Watchtower and their Governing Body.
