in the legal corporations (e.g., watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania, watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc.,) do not have to be filled by anointed brothers.
therefore, all of the brothers that were currently holding these positions, all of whom were on the governing body, have resigned.

i am curious about this issue.
personally, i never felt i would be good enough for a split second.
one would think that knowing you can not be good enough to survive would it make it easier to leave the witnesses and live for the present.
Well, we don't really have to worry about that anymore. We all know it was one big guilt trip. We have the arsenal of information on our side.

july 31, 2011 was the happiest day of my life.
i married the most wonderful man that has ever entered into my life.
the problem is, is that now i have 2 fighting teen step children who cant find anything nice to say about the other.
First off, welcome to the board!
These situations can be tough. It's something new for them. They were used to only mom or only dad. If you can get them in their fighting to talk exactly about why one disagrees with the other, that would be nice. Maybe one is jealous. I don't know. All I know is that you have to help open up the lines of communication, otherwise how are you going to know the root of the problem?
the price is very high...they hold my parents and the rest of my dear friends hostage...and we know i am not alone...my oldest walked away at 18 and i never let him go....i walked away and am paying high consequences that will effect me and my boys forever...my youngest has been booted but wants back in...not because he believes thank somebody...but because he does not want to forever lose his family and friends....so sad...he knows i have walked away from sooooo much.

Oompa, I know what your going through. I am in a similar situation myself. All I can say is hang in there buddy.
There are those dank days and there are those euphoric days. Your boy, after being booted, will never go back with the same attitude or thinking.
So be happy with that.

did you ever look for coc or any other book in a local library when you were a believer or when you began to have doubts?
how hard is it to find this book in a public library?.
In my area, we have several libraries, and not one has a copy. I've checked in the library catalogue.
Please, do your area a favor and donate your copy if you don't use it. You don't know how much help it would be.
