Thanks You Know. I can't say that I agree with you, but I appreciate your bearing with me on this line of reasoning. I totally disagree in the two camps theory. According to the bible all mankind was created by God, and we are all his children. Some may not believe, or want to recognize this, but they are STILL God's children.

What is your interpretation of a "worthy one"? You keep using that phrase. Since all are imperfect, and all sin, why would one be more worthy than the other. If your defining worthy as a type of "heart condition", or someones attitude, why wouldn't God help to correct that attitude, not condemn ones for it? And why do you interpret it as bad for ANYONE to have the whole truth, even if they are unworthy, what would be the horrible consequences?
I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. What did you mean by "worthy ones"?

i've been reading the comments on the recent district assemblies and i've got some questions about the wtbts convention security teams.. 1) is it a given that anyone who tries to get in without a convention badge is going to be carefully scrutinized?

It'd be great to see someone at an assembly with a HUGE cross sown to the back of their suit jacket! Or maybe a tshirt saying "Jesus saves, not the WBTS!" Surely someone would ask such a person to leave, but they certainly couldn't make them.

Upon my further reviewing of Isaiah 10, I'm not even sure why you are referring to that verse as a prophecy. It doesn't say "There will be", or "There will come", or anything like that. It appears to me to be addressing a specific people, in a specific time. It does say, "These are a rebelious people".
I can understand you perhaps saying that people today could be "like them", or even draw a "parallel" to ones today. But what is your reasoning for it on being a prophecy?

I do admire the amount of thought and study that you have put into prophecy. Your web pages contain an impressive amount of information. I don't discount the possibilities that you or anyone else present, I just feel that they can no longer be the focus of what I believe or how I live.

Which part of that scripture, specifically, am I fulfilling? I haven't told anyone to 'not see'. I also haven't said that I only want to hear 'smooth things', or 'deceptive things'. Are you saying that that scripture prophesies a general non-caring attitude for prophecy? Because I would have to disagree. I'm not trying to argue, but would like to hear more specifically your thoughts.

I am so sick and tired of hearing about this prophecy in the bible, and that prophecy in the bible. I'm sick of hearing they were fulfilled by this person, that organization, some event. I'm tired of sifting through 10 different bible books to draw an unreasonable conclusion about the importance of a specific date, or time.
I realize that the entire bible was written for our benefit, and that we can learn from things that were prophecied and fulfilled, but it seems pointless to sit for hours, and study about something that hasn't happened yet, and that we can't prove will.
I've finally decided just to focus on the "spirit" of the bible. I'm not saying that this will change who I am greatly, but it eases my mind a whole lot.
