Jehovah's Witness prank -- Reno 911
by FirstInLine ingarcia and the black guy on reno 911 stopped two guys guns drawn, felony arrest procedures really aggresively and were very agitated and nervous sounding as they forced these guys to the ground reciting the apb and suspect derscription.. garcia ordered one to toss his satchel as he was on his ground.
the other guy checked it out and he said "its ok false alarm they're jehovah's witnesses, its ok false alarm.".
"ok boys sorry for the misunderstanding have a nice day.".

Nature series - Animal study 102 - the rock badger
by A Paduan inand the rock badger, because it chews the cud but does not part the hoof, is unclean to you.
so then, what distinguishing behaviour do rock badgers have, that we should not eat/be like the rock badgers?
is it that they hide themselves among the rocks?

From the first crack -- 'til there's soil -- yes, it takes a long, long time.
Thanks goodness for the day of small beginnings.

Trees (roots) that grow among rocks will, in time, turn that rock into soil.
Isn't it cool that orchids grow on rocks too?
(reminds me: God put Moses in a rock cleft too)

Low risk
"Given the state of the farm, and what we know about the investigation, we cannot rule out the possibility that cross-contamination may have occurred," British Columbia Health Officer Perry Kendall said in Victoria.
"Cross-contamination could mean that human remains did get into or contaminate some of the pork meat," Mr Kendall added.
"The risk to human health for those who consumed the products is extremely remote, based on the fact most pork products are typically well-cooked, which is known to effectively destroy most infectious agents," local health authorities said in a statement.
Officials also stressed that the farm's pig slaughtering operation was not officially licensed and Mr Pickton did not sell processed meat to retail outlets.
"There is no evidence we are dealing with anything other than a very specific localised issue, with a specific number of local people," said Catherine Galliford of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Instead, police said the meat was sold directly from the farm until it was shut down in 2002.

I wonder what would have happened if she was informed of the fact that she would possibly be facing life in prison if one or both of her babies died due to her non-compliance?
I wonder if anyone thought she might need some kind of psych evaluation when she allegedly said "she would rather "lose one of her babies than be cut like that." ?
So many questions. So many things we'll probaby never know
Tragic.
(cross posted...I'm thinking along the same lines as Lady Lee)

In a jailhouse interview with KSL Newsradio 1160, Ms Rowland denied she had been advised to have a C-section with the twins. "I've never refused a C-section. I've already had two prior C-sections. Why would I say something like that?" Ms Rowland said.
Dr. Christian Morgan, a family practice doctor who regularly performs C-sections at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, said he had never seen vertical skin incisions performed at LDS Hospital for a first-time C-section.
I suppose there was a fear of having a classical incision performed on her (?) I wonder what else could have been done to prevent this? Tragic story.
