brett haines, right, and his attorney at his sentencing by judge william mallory.
[courts sentence drunk drivers to aa (alcoholic anonymous) meetings and use the same protocol having a 'court paper' signed by the meeting's chairperson.many drunks will become full fledged aa 12 step followers and will praise the court action that introduced them to the 'program'.it appears this man's sentence is modeled after the same idea.
Man COURT ORDERED to attend K-Hall meetings!!
Um...and here I was thinking that torture was a violation of the geneva conventions.....
since i discovered the 4th dimension, one of the conclusions i have reached is, the 4th dimension is an infinite access to the truth.
throughout this website, i use the term "i wish" - it is really a way to voice a person's desire - and from the work i have done - it really works.
from the saying: "ask and you shall receive", i have understood that any human being can make an infinity of "wishes" and receive the truth (the correct answer) to every question they may have, in the form of a dream - that same night.
I'd rather the 5th Dimension myself...
...of the "up, up, and away" class...
something i got off the myspace.com jw group.
if somebody can tell me the difference between the logic in this post and the logic in an orwellian book, pm me and i'll give you my credit card number.. .
i wanted to mention, to all active jehovah's witnesses, that a brother has called to my attention that he is being harassed by apostates.
I had ask a elder about it and he said basically when you sin against the spirit, there is no hope for you even if you tried to come back. He never heard of a apostate trying to come back cause there minds are so twisted by Satan that they have lost all reasoning. ( re: Aaron's comment* )
LoL! Heh, wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes... now THAT is some funny schtuff! heh..*ahem* (sigh)
This person http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=2646693 is a registered sex offender, claims to be a JW and is a member of JW myspace groups. Where's the outrage over that? Where are the public warnings? These people seriously need to get their priorities straight.
Yeah, I guess you're better off being a pedophile than a "twisted" apostate. Go figure.

i'm just finished reading george orwell's "1984.
" has anyone read it and did you also find eerie similarities to.
...and now, picture this: An old JW-couple in their seventies...
Hellrider, that was incredibly heartbreaking.

Most Christian organisations are only too pleased to spread the Good Word, but the Jehovah's Witnesses have taken an altogether different approach by forcing a Canadian member to close down a website highlighting their beliefs. This may have something to do with the weirdness of some of the church's views, such as the belief that vaccinations are a cruel hoax by Satan, that organ transplants are the equivalent of cannibalism, that blood transfusions are unbiblical, that God himself edits its magazine, that the Great Pyramid of Giza was "an outline of the plan of God" and that the world would end in 1914. And 1915. And 1918. And 1920. And 1925. And 1940. And 1975. Having learned its lesson, it now believes officially that the end is merely imminent
LoL. Priceless. Thank you Quotes and Stephen Bates!!
i work with a few young witnesses.
actually, they work for me.
but that's not the point here.
Funchback, I'm guessing that if she didn't give RR permission to pick up her phone and read the messages in the first place, she just might be one of those JW females who are raised up to be passive and in subjection to the males in the congregation. If so, she mightn't be assertive enough to tell RR where to go when he started reading through her personal schtuff.
do you have good memories from your childhood when it comes to the meals your mother served you?
what did she give you to eat when you were ill?
When we had it good, we had it good.
I can remember eating homemade bread still warm from the oven, dripping with melted butter. Hot tortillas made from scratch, w/refried beans -- fantastic. Corn fritters, pan-fried rainbow trout served up on a po' boy w/mustard. Postum and Cream of Wheat, homemade enchiladas... I remember getting light foods when ill, like dry toast or saltines w/7up, and a yummy soup with a few red beans in it. Dad rarely cooked, but I do have a fond memory of him heating up some milk in a pan, then pouring the warm milk over some wheatpuffs, which we ate for breakfast.
i got this email in 2001 from someone i don't know.
i posted about it back then, but got no responses.
it is kinda a long read, but worth it.
Belbab, I'm sitting here shocked and horrified. To describe the situations in your post as extremely disturbing would be an understatement.
it is the christmas time of year, so what better topic then being rude.
as this time of the year, often brings the rudeness out, from even the nicest of people.
take for example what happened to me today.
I just wanted to thank Scully for her topic The Unkindest Cut: Hateful Words from JWs that Show Their True Colours -- this goes along with my post earlier in this thread and I'm gratified the subject has got its own thread. Very validating -- it helps to know that those who have experienced JW rudeness/hate are not alone.
